Great puzzle!!!!

Amazing puzzle so far. I am only 4 days in and have been struggleing do the small work space I have 8' X 4' table top. I am doing one half at a time due to such limited space. I have been seperating pieces and flippiong them over I have only logged a few hours so far both doing an inital sort, but half of the boarder is done and it seems like it will be tons of fun. I read other reviews that said "check to make sure you have different bags and when you dont demand a refund." well I did check and I have two bags of vibrently colored pieces and I can't wait to get my puzzle on and start using that famous Ravensburger smart click technology. If things change as I work more on my puzzle I will be sure to update my review. Happy puzzling.

Awesome Puzzle

I have to admit, I'm a little bit daunted by this puzzle. It arrived quickly and picking it up, the box is heavy!! I am very pleased with the quality, this is my first Ravensburger puzzle and I am impressed, the pieces fit together well, they're thick, well-made, there is a variety of shapes and sizes and the colours are vivid. The puzzle comes in two separate bags so you can choose to work on one side at once or go all in and mix all 9000 pieces together if you're really brave. A handy poster-sized reference picture is also included which is very helpful. So far I am not even quarter of the way through the left-hand side after about two weeks of working on it so this puzzle is not for the faint of heart! Should keep me entertained for a very long time! =) Definitely recommended if you're looking for a serious challenge or as a family activity (there is definitely plenty of room for a lot of people to work on it at once as i can lay inside the fully completed border.) Good luck!

Puzzle Love!!!!

This is the second 9,000 Ravensburger puzzle for me and I am really enjoying this one. The colors are great! The pieces come in two separate bags (left side and right side) but I felt like it was cheating to assemble it as if it were two smaller puzzles so I immediately opened and mixed the bags to make it more challenging. We actually had to build a special table out of plywood to assemble these 9,000 piece puzzles but it was well worth it given the hours of entertainment assembling the puzzles provides. I only wish Ravensburger offered a larger selection of this size puzzle as I will soon be ready for the next one :)

Beautiful!

The puzzle is actually over 9000 pieces, however, it arrives in two bags, and makes it easy to keep the puzzle in two sections. Colors are vibrant and pieces are thick. I've glued the puzzle and framed them. Visitors are surprised that picture is a actually a puzzle.

The finished product is beautiful! The journey was interesting. I worked on the left side of the puzzle first and discovered it was missing two pieces. I've never lost a puzzle piece before. I called Ravensburger and they sent out a replacement bag which allowed me to take a two week break from puzzling. As I was completing the right side of the puzzle, I was confused because I kept seeing a dark puzzle piece when all of the dark sections were finished. It turns out I was given two extra pieces in the other bag and they were not from this puzzle. Anyway, all's well that ends well.

Love this!

This was a gift, I am in love with the image.. One thing was that the box was damaged =( and I could not get an exchange. However the pieces are nice and thick, very little dust. and the picture vibrant and gorgeous! Definitely a must have for avid puzzlers!

Complete set, no missing or duplicate piece

I ordered and received the puzzle last week, and based on the other reviews, I quickly inspected the 2 bags in the box. In my case, they were 2 different bags, 1 bag for each side of the puzzle. So either they have fixed this problem, or I have been lucky! It is a great and nice looking puzzle, but a real challenge to finish it.

My last review was kicked back because they didn't like the way I reviewed the product. Here's another attempt. Do not buy this product. It seems I am one of at least 4 people who bought the puzzle with 2 bags (marked A and B) but each one contained the same side of the puzzle. While typically I wouldn't recommend pooling all the pieces, if you purchase this puzzle, open it immediately and sort just the corner pieces out of bag A and bag B. When they match, demand a refund immediately. Ravensburger is often a good puzzle company, but this type of mistake is destructive to their reputation. If anyone has two right sides, please let me know as we may be able to do a puzzle(half) swap. Odds are good the pieces will mostly fit together! Seriously - do not buy. When it goes on sale, pay less than half price because you will get less than half a correct puzzle. I put in 3 pieces showing different parts of the puzzle that were identical (except corner piece had lower edge cut a little bit lower).

Huge but rewarding

This took me 18 months to complete, but I have mounted it and I am hanging it on the wall, where it gets a lot of positive attention. It is a challenging puzzle and thank goodness it comes in 2 halves. As the instructions recommend, DO NOT mix the 2 bags together! Only tears will result! The colors are vibrant and the pieces well constructed, as I would expect from Ravensburger.

Challenging, but great fun!

This is a cracking puzzle. Yes, it's huge, but you can build it in two halves which is more manageable. There's a load of detail in the picture, and very few areas of solid colour, so this is a great choice if you haven't completed large puzzles previously. You won't be spending weeks trying to complete 4 square feet of sky - rather, there's always another part of the puzzle which you can focus on completing. The fit of the pieces, and quality of the finished picture are both excellent.

Big, bright, beautiful

I purchased this puzzle a few months back. My previous largest puzzle had been a 3,000 piece puzzle, and I was looking to do something substantially more difficult. I liked the picture, and the reviews all indicated that the colors were nice and bright, something I've noticed makes a big difference in being able to isolate colors properly. When it arrived, it was no disappointment - the pieces were well cut, and the colors nice and bright. There's a fair bit of dust from the cutting in the bags, so the finished product will need a thorough dusting before it can be glued and mounted. The picture insert to work with is fantastic - nice and large, with full detail. The only thing I noticed off was that some of the shades don't match between the picture and the pieces, likely due to printing discrepancies (I noticed this in one of the brown/yellow sections on the lower right), but the colors were still close, and consistent on the medium, so once I realized what the shading issue was, it became easy to work with. I mixed the two bags together, which clearly made this much more difficult. It comes in 2 bags, one for each side of the puzzle, so you have the option of doing this as two smaller puzzles. That being said, I'm quite happy that I mixed them, as I purchased this for the process of assembly more than for having the finished product.

Very good quality. Comes in two bags, one for the left hand side and the other right hand side, but are not labelled. Puzzle is large 193x139cm. Comes in very sturdy box with a coloured poster size of the puzzle so that it can be used as a guide. I have used 4 pieces of cardboard approx 55x150cm to assemble the puzzle (for ease of working and moving after completion!)
