It could be better

It is a wonderful doll, but I missed some specific details. Unlike the other dolls from this same collection, Uma only comes with one item with the image of the cartoon cat (symbol of the Neon Shadow group), which makes me disappointed. The guitar (or even the guitar case) cold have the image of the cartoon cat on it, or maybe her pants. The only item included with this doll that has the cartoon cat is the white top (second outfit), and sometimes it comes smaller than it should (the line stitches may be sew on the wrong places). They could have done that top slightly bigger, to show the cat with more details. I also believe she would be much nicer and cooler if she came with punk boots instead of classic shoes. If you don't care for these details, you will probably love this doll.

The doll is amazing, but she came worse for wear.

The doll's design is amazing, but unfortunately mine came in bad condition. The packaging seemed fine, but the first thing I noticed was a white fuzz on her top- I assumed this to be dried hair gel or some kind of fabric dust/glue residue, but unfortunately I think it was mold. She also had a much stronger chemical smell than any of my other RH/SH dolls. I was able to deep clean her and the clothes, but her jacket was missing it's small silver "studs" before I even fully removed it from the packaging. She also had some very small defect dots on her face (side of nose and lip) and some nail paint on her hands. I was able to get this doll on sale for $26 and planned to customize her so I wasn't too upset about the extra work, but this is why I generally prefer to get dolls in-person. For an in-box collector I think everything would be fine (except the mold, obviously) but her clothing pieces may be a bit too fragile for younger children.

Collectible and playable

An amazing and awesome gift to give on a birthday or Christmas gift for girls. The only thing for me I’m a little iffy on is how they are dressed … mini skirts and tube tops but other then that they are easy to change their clothes and my daughter and her friends love them

Pretty but pricey

Was lucky to get this doll during a discount sale, I have to say that the rrp of this particular release is a bit high. That said, the doll does come with an extra outfit, a stand, an instrument and amplifier, which is more than the regular releases, and from what I can see the usual quality has been maintained. Her sig outfit has a lot of nice details and the colour of the doll/hair is also very pretty. I think the uniqueness of this line in exploring colour, coupled with the detail, is one of the main selling points.
