Nicely made cooler bag that is attractive and should last a while

I order this when my cheap store freezer bags kept tearing or handles breaking so that during hot summer months the frozen food I buy will get home in reasonable shape. I never have had such a nicely made cooler bag. The outside canvas like cover is very thick and its a good size with a zipper. I will enjoy using this for a few years i am sure.

Just Right!

This bag is sturdy and easily holds all my groceries from a quick store trip. It folds nicely to fit under my truck seat, too.

Good Teacher Bag

Pro: It’s a good bag for packing snacks to work with enough space for everything in one trip. Folds up nicely for storage. Con: The Velcro on bottom of the bag sticks to carpet, making it difficult to move in the car or any room that is carpeted.

Versatile handle

Great for groceries. And straps move so that bag can be held horizontally like a pizza delivery bag. So, great for transporting food.

Not jumbo!

I should return this since it most definitely is not jumbo but I’m keeping because the quality is so nice. Instead I’m return their 5 gallon size because they’re about the same size only the minimally “smaller” one is just a cheaply made version! Weird. Had I only ordered the smaller one I would’ve thought Rachel Ray is a cheap skate but this one is nice. Just not as big as I expected. No way is it 10 gallon. Plus, it’s narrow and tall. So not as useful for groceries. Deserves a 3-star for all this but again, it’s very nice quality so I’ll use it and keep looking for a truly jumbo bag. See photo for comparison to 1 gallon jug.

Good Quality Insulated Tote

I got this bag a few days ago. It arrived in excellent condition. It seems the quality is better than grocery store insulated bags. Bear in mind that the insulation is nowhere near as thick as a good quality soft pack cooler and much less than a high end cooler or ice chest. My guess is that the bag's insulation is on the order of 1/8 to 1/4 inch vs. 1 1/2 to 2 inches in a good soft pack cooled, even more and better insulation in high end hard coolers. I do not have access to high end insulated totes so I cannot compare. Or even consider whether the high end versions are worth 10x the price. I cannot comment yet in whether it will be easy to clean. Most likely it will be except for foods that really stain. The antimicrobial feature seems common in better bags but I don't plan on leaving drippings or crumbs to test that claim. This bag is quite large. However, for any insulated bag to work, the ice pack to food & drink ratio needs to be 2 to 1. Bear in mind, some ice packs are better than others. Another area to explore. Based on my experience with "dry sacks" and "water proof" cases I wouldn't put the "leak proof" feature of this bag to the test. Instead do not dump in loose ice but keep the ice in sturdy bags and expect some leakage once the ice starts melting. Since the insulation is not very thick don't expect it to keep your food very cold for very long without extra precautions. To help besides using extra large ice packs I use and recommend using Large Thermal Bubble Mailers for some extra insulation. There are undoubtedly more effective and creative alternatives. I've read too many reviews where people's expectations are totally unrealistic. But if you think things through if you prepare this bag will get you through a few hours more or less. I would not expect the bag to keep things piping hot. Nor would I want too. Liquids belong in vacuum insulated food containers, solid food will need reheating by microwave, oven, pot or pan. At most the bag will keep the food a little warm a little longer.

Great bag

It does exactly what I had hope it did. Holds a lot of grocery and protects them from the temperature variations. Feels very sturdy and well made.

I love it!! It’s pretty and easy to carry! Keeps things cold like snacks and beverages . Awesome on the boat or a picnic and it’s pretty huge ! Love it!

Functional and sturdy.

We always take a cooler bag on vacation to have as an extra carry on bag for purchases. It doubles as our beverage cooler in hotel rooms without fridges. Just fill it up with ice, add your wine, beer, coke, water, etc. It's leak-proof, sturdy, and can double as a reusable shopping or beach bag if needed. My only complaint and the reason for the score reduction is the price felt a tiny bit high. If i could give 4.5 stars that would be an appropriate score.
