They’re perfect, but pricey
They looked exactly like the picture, and work fine. They’re just a bit pricey

Great Dice, but Hard Floors are Bad for Them
Metal. Very Metal. These die are the pride of my collection, and I went so far as creating a custom wooden box to keep them in. That being said, you definitely are going to need something to keep these bad boys in. A standard die bag is not going to cut it where they're concerned. They would likely bruise and bang each other up and cause dings and dents in the metal. Also, the one flaw to having these dice is the sad sad results of dropping them. While they are metal, they aren't steel, and are most likely made of pewter or something similar. This means that a good thump onto a hard floor and they're going to get a bruising. Which as many people know, is bad for the D20, as it causes it to roll less true and in the case of my poor D20, to roll 2 and 3 a lot, as it has met with a concrete floor at my friends house where we game a lot, about three or four times. :( What I would recommend as well, because these bad boys can dent a table, is buying some sort of tray to roll them in, so that you don't have as big of a risk of them falling off the table and meeting an early demise. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of these dice. You're getting what you pay for here. Granted they're a good bit higher maintenance that what more people are used to. So I would recommend going down to your local Hobby Lobby, Walmart, or even thrift store craftsman and getting a small sectioned off wooden box to keep them in, or making it yourself.

A gift from the dwarven gods
I got this for my boyfriend as a gift. Definitely a head turner with this dice. It makes a heavy *THUD* every time you roll it. If you're playing on nice granite or marble counters, I would use a dice tray or a book so this thing doesn't make nicks in the stone. The first time I ordered it, the product was marked as delivered but was missing from my mailbox. I suspect either the post man/woman took it or it went into the neighbor's mailbox and they didn't have the decency to return it. I got a replacement from Amazon (can't complain about that!) and I see why someone would want to steal it. If you're in a heated debate in a game, please put these down before you get physical. These are so heavy and solid that you could get charged with assault with a deadly weapon. These dice have definitely been blessed in a dwarven forge. And if you find that your rolls are crap, remember it's you and not the dice.

Metal dice? Yes please!
Pros: -They are metal dice. -They make a great sound when the hit the table. -The design is amazing. I bought 3 sets and each set looks slightly different. -They do not have any roll bias. Cons: -They can damage hardwood and glass tables. Not really a con as it is common sense. This can be remedied by either making or buying a dice catcher. Or you can do what I do and roll them in the small tray they come in. Final Thoughts: I am a DnD nerd and the dwarven style dice really add to the experience. I would recommend and are worth the price. Also worth mentioning is that these dice are heavier (Duh they are metal.) and thus require a little more mustard to roll them. They tend to drop straight down rather than bounce so if you have cats or dogs that like to eat or chance dice this will help.

Gorgeous, heavy, super fun to use!
A very attractive, BEEFY, fun to use set of metal dice. They ARE heavy, so I suggest using them on a padded surface (game mat) or in a dice roller tray, as the could easily damage softer wood table surfaces. I keep mine in a very special box to remind me "these aren't your ordinary dice". I've played with them a few times and their increased weight compared to plastic dice requires a bit more finger spin when you roll to avoid the "drop and plop" behavior where heavy dice just land and don't roll after landing. But with a bit of finger-induced spin, they roll quite nicely. I'll add more detail to this review after I've used them for a longer period of time.

As expected.
Awesome set of dice - me and my brother even decided to test their 'mettle' and smack one or two pieces with a hammer (while they were on concrete). The concrete chipped, and the dice barely had a scratch, so I'd say they're decent quality ... and look cool at the same time. If it's saying anything, most people that saw these are considering buying something from Q-Workshop for themselves; it's good stuff. Now for the negative side: the packaging was so/so. It DOES look exactly like the photo, though. The actual box looks just like it, but it's also pretty thin. It's a cardboard box with print on it - even so, the dice are in perfect shape and it looks badass when it arrives. The dice may rotate or shift in the packaging, but aside from that everything is an easy 10/10. I'd probably buy it again without thinking twice.

beautiful dice
I bought these along with the small chest dice holder, largely because of the number of people who have purchased them and their high rating. I couldn't be happier; the dice are absolutely beautiful. To protect their finish I would suggest they be either display or special use dice, if that's a thing, because heavy use might scratch or cause the sparkly background material to flake off. But that said, they roll fine in terms of randomness, although with a bit less bounce than plastic dice. I would also suggest some type of rolling surface to protect the table because of their weight. But they really are stunning and I don't regret the cost at all.

Top notch dice; love 'em to death!
These dice roll so well! Purely superstition and completely anecdotal evidence of course but these are my "lucky" dice now. They look and feel amazing and they've never let me down when I needed a good roll. The only complaint I have is in dim lighting it can be really difficult to see what it is you rolled. The contrast of "background" to "foreground" on the numerical faces could be a bit more pronounced. Often I find myself having to pick up the die to see what it is I rolled. But that's a minor inconvenience really and probably more the fact that my eyes are getting old than anything else. Top notch dice. Love 'em to death!
