Features Sturdy Durable Offers some level of protection. Thoughts I think this bath spout cover is an inexpensive must have bathing essential during our efforts at making bath time a bit safer. I do not think this offers perfection protection, but it is better than nothing and I opine would help prevent some level of protection for head bumps and scratches. It allows me some level of peace of mind. I want to bond with our babies and not have to worry a wrong move will cause some level of prevention for injury, during out bathing routine. I even keep this on for the toddler. Color It’s a gray, white, similar, but not exact, to an elephant. I wanted this neutral color because I did not want to make this an attractive nuisance, more so than the elephant theme provides. How this arrived. This arrived in thick retail cardboard packaging, that was open to the elements, and had lots of consumer information and a picture of the item in use. This was not shown in the listing. The package weighed in at 7½ ounces and was sturdy. The elephant was tied down with a zip tie, so just a snip releases it. Opening at the head This allows the pull-up, to divert water from the spout to the shower, in case we leave this on, and we want diversion to the shower head. Mold accruing Keeping this clean and dry is a must, to prevent any possible build-up of mold. It’s easy to put on and take off, so I do so and make sure this dries thoroughly, simply hanging this. Cleaning It’s easy to clean, shaking to get any excess water from this and use a vinegar solution over a bleach solution. Instructions are on the cardboard packaging. Measurements and such The measurements, at its widest point of the spout guard is 7” an at its tallest point and 4” and its widest point about 3½”. This is staple, with its little strap, on the faucet. I have no fear about this falling over, on its own. Also, this is BPA. The feel is rubbery and alone weighs in at around 4.5 ounces. Performance It has thick rubbery plastic at the head, for more durable protection. Dispensing and protection This does not interfere with the water dispensing and allows for some level of protection. It is also an attractive nuisance, the babies see something new, and they are curious. But their interest is not constant, as they are diverted to other activities. I Never. I never allow the babies to be unattended. Country of origin? Made in China. Washing & Value We only handwash. Value The price, I think, is reasonable, considering it is double insulated. Design Elephant theme, it’s cute enough. Bottom-line I cannot find fault with this; it had no negative surprises. It’s five (5) star. I hope my thoughts added information.
