Cheap plastic light fixture
I had to purchase this item to replace a very similar fixture on the front porch of my condo unit. I had no choice but to order a similar light since I must keep with the rules regarding conformity in the neighborhood. This light fixture is not meant to be a fancy product. However, the very cheap looking and feel of the plastic piece parts are a disappointment. This fixture is certainly not worth what I paid. It is supposedly made in the USA but looks like it's made in China. It was fairly easy to install.

Thank you Progress! What I was looking for as needing 11 of them exterior wise in the Caribbean. Sea air salt blast totally destroyed my pot metal coach lamps in a very short time. The polypropylene is claimed to meet that condition. The P5844-30 along with a 9322WH ceiling mount from Kichler in Ohio seemed to be the choice of two for this type of market. Wouldn't that be a great market to heavily promote this product in???

Great Light Fixture for Damp Locations.
I too live on the Oregon Coast and was looking for an outdoor sconce that was resistant to moisture, especially the harsh salt air that turns metal into junk very quickly. This light fixture fills the bill quite nicely. The large screw that secures the housing to the metal backing plate is plastic so won't turn to rust like the previous sconce did. It was easy to install and easy to change bulbs.

A nice looking light for the money.
Plastic but seems sturdy. Easy to assemble but the plastic nut to secure to wall is fragile. Be careful or you can strip the screw. I put a 60w equivalent LED bulb and it works great. The plastic lens is fragile and will break if squeezed. Overall, a good value.

Maintenance Free Fixture
I live 5 miles from the beach in California. The metal fixtures rusted in less than a year, even with very little rain. These are great. Stay looking new (easy to clean) and they don't rust. I personally love the style.
