Not Returnable
Got this and must not have read the fine print on the returns policy. It’s too small for me so wanted to return it but it i ineligible for returns so keep that in mind when you order this. Make sure you get the right size.

Love this product
I broke my patella a year ago and have been looking for support just like this. I would recommend this product to friends. One thing is that there are a lot of people talking about sizing and how wrong it is. I technically would be a small (borderline was almost a medium) according to the measurements and ended up ordering a large based on peoples comments. I actually think I would prefer a medium, I like the strap to be on quite tight to get the support I need, it feels better when it's tight and I use this support for when I workout and running. Because I ordered a large there is a bit of excess strap with how tight I pull it. Maybe it would bother you to have a tight band.. but for me if I order another it would be a medium or 1 size up from the original measurement.

Works for Jumper's Knee
Ever get that feeling that you're just getting old? I get that feeling every time I get on the basketball court. But I tell you something, I still love being out there and using my old man tricks (ok, I'm not that old, but hey, I call it like I see it) to run (read: hobble) down the court, play defense and shoot the lights in (certainly not out). But seriously, I don't know what I would do without these things. Are they the most sporty thing? No. I'm sure most people would rather mock someone wearing them than wear one themselves. But to me, this is essential for running the court. I have patellar tendonitis ("jumper's knee") and was very tentative in running and jumping before I got these. I've tried and have worn full sleeve knee braces as well -- they work fine, but these are more explicitly to address the condition and give more freedom and breathing room, IMHO. These will not make you "Thunderstruck" and suddenly the dominant force on the court, if you weren't before. But it does ease some of the knee pain, if you have the same issue, and give you peace of mind to go all out on the floor. I don't pretend to be the basketball master, but I do play regularly and do recommend this product, for what it's worth.

Great for discomfort from Osgood-Schlatter's Disease
Purchased the tendon strap for our high school age son involved in many extracurricular sports. He continually had knee pain and was prone to patella tendinitis. Our orthopedic surgeon said he had an alignment issue. Even with specific exercises suggested by the orthopedic surgeon, he still had issues and needed some relief. We were desperate to try anything, and he was told about this brace possibly relieving some of the issues. So with skepticism I ordered the brace and was pleasantly surprised it worked really well! I relieved a great deal of pain without having to take various otc medication to help with inflammation, ect. The band with loosen with long wear, so one size smaller than what you think might be best. Not a long term solution, but certainly a helper if you have been diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter's Disease.

Seems to help my runner's knee
As someone who deals with runner's knee, I thought I'd give this a try in addition to the usual stretching and strengthening. My usual symptoms are a sore knee the day after running. This strap seems to help, along with icing and ibuprofen immediately following a run. In a couple of days, I'm usually good-to-go (I'm not a daily runner.) I attach the strap VERY snugly right below my kneecap. So far I've had good results. I am going to get another in case I need a spare. A word on sizing. My knee measures 15 inches just under the kneecap. I bought a large, and it fits properly. The strap seemed a little short at first, but once I looped it through, there was just enough strap to attach to the Velcro correctly. I think if I had bought extra large, the strap would have been too long, and the two Velcro pieces would have overlapped past one another. Medium would have been too short.

Size is off—too small
I have an older Pro-Tec strap that I bought several years ago that fits perfectly. It is an L size, so I bought an L size again. I don’t know if they made it shorter to save a few cents, but the new one is too small. The Velcro barely reaches the textile area to secure it in place. You should buy one size larger than what you think you need.

Must have for Runner's Knee
I get very painful runner's knee (or patellar tendinitis, even though it's really a ligament) and it alternates between both my knees. I bought one of these to see how it would do, and after the first run I promptly ordered a second. It doesn't fix the pain right away, but it does allow you to continue running and training. It alleviates some of the pressure that causes the pain, so you can continue to heal AND run. As any runner knows, it is very difficult to skip runs, even when you know you should rest and heal. These run pretty true to size. I was worried about the plastic loop digging into my leg, or the band chaffing, but after you put it on, you can't even feel it. Also, it dries quickly and does well with me washing them by hand 2x a week. I wear one on each knee for every run, and when one it acting up, I'll wear it for walking the dog also. If you are even looking for something like this, then you need it. Buy it. I wish I had bought it sooner.

It works if it fits
It does alleviate my knee pain when it fits. As mentioned in other reviews, the sizing chart is very misleading and you will need to buy one or two sizes up to fit. I purchased large and it is measured around 15.5 inches. However since the band needs to wrap around through the clip in the end to attach back to the velcro, it barely fits me (around 11.5 inches).

Excelente calidad y sí ayuda a disminuir el dolor en la rodilla cuando corres. Las tallas si son confusas, en mi caso debería ser M pero compré la L y me quedó perfecta
