Good gift
Purchased for my dad in order to have a hand call in case the others are no good. I can’t speak to its performance in the field but it sounded good inside the house

Easy to get good sounds out of
Been practicing on several calls and had the best luck with calf and cow calls on this one. Tried it with an experienced caller listening to me and was able to get an "approved" sound with this faster than my other calls. Lightweight and small, easy to store or strap pretty much anywhere in your setup.

Easy to use reed setup
I mastered bugling last year and wanted to learn to cow call. I didn't want to mess with the mouth reed setup yet so after some research this looked like the best option. I can say that here in northern New Mexico mountains, this call worked amazing during the rut. I took me about 10 seconds after watching a youtube video to figure out how to use. Our cabin sits right at the edge of the forest so there is regular elk presence. I could call them in with the bugle to about 100yds, but with this call I could get them in to 40yds. I called in 6 elk over 2 weekends sitting around our campfire. I didn't have a permit this year so I was just having fun and my friends were thoroughly impressed with my calling ability.

Compact but Well made
So easy to use, comes with directions on the package that help a lot and very well made, authentic sounds. Well worth the $!

Midnight Elk Train
If your into arousing bull elk this will fill your needs. I'm no expert so it did take a little practice at first. Get out there and don't be timid to give it a full and passionate toot.

Works extremely well in Arizona!
Ordered this call and others for an Arizona Bull Elk hunt. Nearly every time I used this call, a Bull would bugle back. In fact, the bugles in return sounded more intense when using this call compared to others for some reason. I put the other calls in my pack and used this one exclusively. Great for locating bulls and gets them moving toward you. This call truly made a difference on our hunt and was key to tagging the big bull on day 2.

Good call, easy to use
Been searching far and wide for a good reed call that sounds great and is easy to use. This one totally fits that bill. I had originally visited a site that had a comparison of the top calls in each category and this one scored high. Now I know why. Haven't used it in the field yet, but I know it will be effective. It really only took me a couple of minutes to figure it out and get the sounds I want. I've become more and more of a Primos fan as time goes on. They really have a fantastic line of hunting products. They're very innovative. Can't wait for early archery next season!
