Incredible mat for beaches and desert environments.

I discovered this while staying on the beach in Puerta Penasco, Sanora, Mexico earlier this year. I watched it lying there, not moving during a windstorm that lasted most of a week without anything anchoring to the ground while I fought mine to ensure they remained. It checks ALL the boxes!!! Looks great, light weight, comfortable to walk or lay down on, doesn't hurt your knees when getting up and easy to clean! I couldn't wait to get one of my own. I ordered it prior to arriving home and it was waiting for me. HIGHLY recommend this mat!! I Rarely give 5 stars but this product definitely deserves it.

The rug to buy

Based upon other Amazon reviews I bought this rug and I love it. They come in two colors tan or blue. I got the blue. Lucky for me, either color matches my rig. Hold in place: I use empty jugs to hold the ends. I fill them with water when I arrive. I have some mats, as well, so I don't work with stakes. It does have grommets for stakes. The rug can be used shorter by folding down sections. I don't try to fold it back to original packaging. I sometimes put it in a basket, so any sand or condensate keeps off my leather seats. i fold it solo, but a second person would be nice. I use a picnic table to fold it. I dried it over a fence/clothes line. It dried quickly and then I was able to shake off the leaves. The way these work, sand falls through, Other stuff can be shaken off. NOW these are said to be superior to other rugs because they breathe and chairs can be moved and don't poke holes through. I toured several stores and looked at rugs, then bought this one at Amazon. I feel this is the rug to buy. I may use a small spacer rug at the entry (since I have a wheel well that sticks out). That will give me more working space and avoid bending around the protruding wheel. I am happy with my purchase.

Just recieved this product and am pleased that the description is exactly as stated. Unfolded it and will be putting in out travel trailer and look forward to using it soon. Really like that it is light weight and LOVE that it is 6ft. wide...we just downsized to a 7ft. wide trailer and were concerned that we would have problems with a mat or have to go to that one you fold up and the creases NEVER come out...Problem solved . UPDATE!!! Used this last week camping for 4 days and it was exactly what we wanted and needed. Brushes off easily, rolls out quickly and easily. We got a carpet pole( from a carpet store) and use that to roll it up on.I would certainly recommend this to everyone.

Wonderful mat. Hope it lasts a long time.

Used once so far and loved it. Wanted one for a long time but all I saw were way too heavy and took up too much storage. This one does what they say it will do and packs up quite small. We didn't pay attention the first time we unfolded it and later my wife just folded it any which way in a hurry. So that wouldn't repack. So, I unfolded it and studied the folds so I could refold it like it was originally. It returned to its original size and then fit quite easily in the handy carrying package it came in. I really like the mat. Hope it lasts a long time.

Love how easy it cleans and sweeps off. The only downside is, it is not as thick as some rv mats so to sit on it isnt very comfortable, however find it is more durable than the thicker plastic rv mats so would ratber this one knowing my lawn chairs dont damage it. Looks great too and the size is wonderful
