Spike Darts and EXPLODING Targets, too much fun!!
My granddaughters and I have literally been having a BLAST shooting my Big Bore and broadhead darts. We use Big Blast Target Inflators from ebay to pump up water bottles to 80 psi and that big bore broadhead bursts them with a mighty bang! Here's a demo: http://youtu.be/5Nez_7iHodk If this link doesn't work search youtube for 'Big Blast Target Inflator tests' But these adventurous kids of mine wanted to go BIG so I pumped up a 2 liter pop bottle for them and they shot - major disappointment, all the dart did was punch a hole and let the air leak out. Then I bought a 40 cal predator and these spike darts and I'll tell you they do the job. The hills are now alive with the sound of echoing explosions!! So much FUN! The problem now is getting enough bottles to shoot at. Great Dart, highly recommended.

Shipped here very fast (company was only one state away). Nothing was really damaged and all parts were made pretty well. Assembling the dart into the yellow plastic was a little difficult/dangerous to get used to. Using just your hands to assembly the darts is kind of difficult and will most likely stab you at least one time.. However, any semi-intelligent person can figure some sort of system for assembling these darts fast and safely. The darts fly very well and accurate. One issue I have with the design of the darts, is that the yellow plastic part on the end of the darts starts to break from the shear force/power of impact once hitting your target. However, this is only a problem if you are aiming at harder surfaces. Overall, I love these little darts, they are the strongest one I have found so far (short-range, of course).

Not that great...
One day I was sitting in my dorm and my roommate said: "dude do you know what would sick right now?" and me being the bored freshman that I was I responded "what?" then he boldly made that suggestion that we buy blow dart guns. So we bought blow dart guns and wanted to increase our arsenal. We stumbled across these bad boys and instantly bought them. That was a mistake....Unfotuanelty these shoot way slower than the long skinny ones that the blow dart gun comes with and these don't even stick into any target we could make. They are a very cool idea but they just weren't for us.

They're good but...
The darts are good, they will not shoot as accurately as standard lighter weight "needle" darts, but do have a nice impact, would be good for hunting I suppose. The add shows all yellow, which is what i wanted, but bag comes with assorted colors, blue/black/white/yellow, and red-not what I wanted or thought I was getting. As well, a few of the plastic pieces split as you press the dart in, even if you do it with care as I did-lost 3 plastic pieces to splitting. The metal darts are well formed though, consistently straight and sharp. Better plastic and getting the color of your choice=5 stars.

clumsy, inconsistent
So, I bought the spike darts as extra ammo to use for my predator blowgun, I already had the wire darts that came with it and figured if I ended up losing them I could use the Spike darts. The spike dart were a HUGE disapointment; the metal spikes crack their plastic sheathes and I can already see the cracks getting worse as I use the dart. A lot of the plastic parts are warped so they don't fit well in the blowguns tube; I have some that let so much air past I can't get any pressure when firing the dart and others that stick in the tube or wobble in the air. in comparison the results from the darts that came with the blowgun fired MUCH more consistently. PROS: There are 50 darts so some of them should be good quality. (come to think of it that isn't a pro) The metal pieces are sharp and pretty uniform. CONS: The plastic parts of the darts are often misshaped which ruins the darts range and messes up their accuracy. The plastic also doesn't seem durable and just putting the two pieces together often cracks the plastic.

Look closely at the photo and you will see what I did not. I.e. some assembly required. Had it not been for that, I would have given it 5 stars. This is not a toy, it is quiet, cheap, and surprisingly accurate, doesn't carry far past the target if you miss, it can be harmful when misused. In the right hands and at the proper range it a small bird, or a chip-monk's worst nightmare.

Good penitration
These are good ammo. they have a nice weight, good penitration and fly straight. my only complaint is that they could probably fit a little snugger in the gun. of course it could just be the gun i was using or human error on my part but if i tilted the gun down too much they would sometimes fall out. also there were times i didnt get a good seal and lost velocity. but i like them and would buy them again.

Non adatte a bersagli lontani più di due metri anche con la cerbottana lunga. Le code escono spessissimo
Suggerisco di usare della colla da porre in fondo alla gola della coda. Molte delle code si fessurano all'atto dell'assemblaggio o escono. Le punte sono troppo spesse e rimbalzano piuttosto che conficcarsi
