These Screws work really well great holding power We work a lot with heavier woods and use these all the time There not cheap but you get what you pay for. would definitely rcommend them.

Rock Solid

I needed 5" screws for some work that I am doing in rehabilitating an older home. I had used power-pro 2 1/2" stainless steel screws in other projects and have been very happy with their durability and workability. I looked for 5" power-pro screws locally, but could only find shorter alternatives that didn't use a torx or hex driver or screws that were a larger diameter than what I needed. These are not stainless steel, but are coated for rust and corrosion control. The set includes a T25 torx bit, so you don't have to worry about purchasing separately and the 5 pound box contains over 200 screws. Even though these screws are pretty long, they are relatively easy to work with. I was using the screws with reinforced manufactured wood so I took my time starting with a small pilot hole to help start and guide the screws. I had no issues in using. I am not an expert carpenter, so others may have alternative or better ways for working with these screws.

intent to use lifting hot water tank with this length 3 screws each side i positive the 150 lbs will easily b handled to place drain pan underneath without throwing out back or damaging pan

I had problems reaching rafter in the ceiling, mounting boards to decorating the ceiling. I could not replace the drywall. So, I decided the creat wood frame, to put the ceiling back in place.

The 214 pcs count was accurate, came with a #25 torx bit, quality 5 inch wood screws. Torx are far superior to square highly recommended

Good screws at great price.

These are Torx-drive (necessary because of the length) and exterior grade. At about 20 cents each in the tub. At retail they are 2$ each.

Very good screws

Very good screws. Couldn’t find 5 inch screws at the local hardware store to install furring through 3in insulation. These were delivered in two days and work perfectly. Would definitely order again.
