inexpensive,solid and simple design
It works well with its basic design on my tacoma pickup truck. The fold down with pull pin is not convenient, but rarely needed with a truck bed. There is minimal sway and the straps work well to hold the bikes. I am worried about strap failure over time and would want a secondary hold down esp on longer trips. Also additional reflectors or painting the whole rack safety neon would be good, especially if there are no bikes on it.

Works for city bikes with wide handlebars
I bought the three bicycle rack option for my two city bikes as they both have very wide handlebars (Nitto Albatross) . It was a good decision as I needed the space the middle bike would have taken up to accommodate the two bicycles without touching each other. The rack took about five minutes to put together and it’s easy to put onto the hitch, except that the attachment bolt needs to be screwed in with a crescent wrench and then you put a cotter pin on it. This is a secure set up, but I would prefer to have a bolt that just goes through the hitch and doesn’t require it to be screwed in. Other than that, I didn’t have any issues with the rack. I did read all the customer reviews and saw a lot of people mentioned that the bike holders can move around on the supports, so I followed one person’s recommendation to create a small ring of tape using gorilla tape in front of and behind each bicycle holder to hold it into position on the arm and that worked really well. The clearance is also pretty good when going in and out of my driveway even though my street has a high crown and the hitch dept low. No scraping!

Heavy duty bike rack
When the rack came in, I did not expect it to be so heavy! The instructions were very easy to follow for assembly! Once mounted on my Subaru outback, it was very easy to tilt to open gate, and the rack is very solid, no rattling! I would definitely recommend this bike rack and would purchase again!

Strap anchor broke
The first day I used this we had loaded the last bike on and the strap anchor snapped off when we strapped it down. Nothing changed on the other straps and it was setup the same way as the other straps were, it was weird that this one snapped. Kinda disappointed with it because it worked almost perfectly but we had to use a rope to make sure the bikes wouldn’t start to fly off or attempt to fly off. Was hoping for a more sturdy product.

Good study rack and a a good buy for the price... two small nuisances though.
Good, solid rack. I love that it has two places to adjust the angles for storage and/or to move it out of the way to get into the hatch of my SUV. There are two things that could be improved: 1) the rubber 'grooves' into which the bike frame rests shift position on the bars while the car is moving which causes the bike to twist on the rack. It was an easy fix... just used some electric tape and built up a barrier on both sides of the grooves to keep them from moving. Works like a charm and the bike doesn't swivel on the rack. 2) the rubber straps that secure the bike frame into the grooves mentioned above are a little difficult to get on tight and then get back off due to the position of the notch being so close to the arm of the rack. Just a minor inconvenience though. This is a good, sturdy product at a good price...i don't regret the purchase at all.

Not bad for the price
I bought mine in March and the rubber straps are already starting to break. Thought it would have a longer life span. It does the job but I’m starting to worry a bike it going to fall off of a strap breaks.

Be careful
I like how the metal parts are made and install on the hitch, super easy. What I don't like is the rubber straps that hold the bike to the rack. They split and come loose. This could spell big trouble for your bike and someone behind you when it comes loose. I now rap a bungee cord around the bikes and the rack to make it useable. Just cheap straps makes this a do not buy!

Buen rack considerando el precio pero faltaron piezas
Buena construcción y las bicis montan bien, todo está muy robusto, le hubiera dado 5 estrellas pero falto la pieza metálica que evita el juego. Y no encuentro cómo contactar a Amazon para que me lo envíen
