Lasted almost a year. Now its either seized or shorted.
This is obviously a cheap pump and when it comes to your pocketbook that's nice. I can buy four of them for the price of a good Wayne, which I can't even find anymore. So it lasted about a year and now it's seized or shorted inside. I'm leaning towards shorted since the wiring gets hot quickly when turned on. Of course, the wiring size is way too small for a pump. It's 18 gauge which is incredibly small. It should be 14 gauge minimum. Time to buy another and see if it's a fluke. Additional note. The seller made good on this problem. On another note I pulled the old one out and the cast iron surfaces are very rusty and crusty. It is super stiff to turn, enough so that it can't start and the small wires are probably part of the problem since they heat up fast. I was able to break it free so that it would turn but it really doesn't want to. I found the guard over the wire actually cut into the wire and some of the nuts holding the motor on are super loose. I checked the new pump that replaced it and it had loose assembly nuts too though not as bad. I'll try to remember to post pictures later.

Kinda works, but False Description.
Description states 164' max well depth, yet this could not pull water up from my 102' well. Wiring diagram is completely different than the actual wiring--which is 3 wires color coded in Chinese pattern. Works as a transfer pump, but will rust if left submerged. Description states no switch needed, but this is false.

So far so good
The cord is very thin.Installed in well 120 foot deep for irrigation and garden you will need a pressure switch and a pressure tank would help.Longevity time will tell

So far, great.
Only used 1 day to clean a drilled well, but worked better than expected for the price. Don't even attempt to read the manual, written in some Asian language and translated with a cheap app. Impossible to understand. Hope the pump continues to impress.

Can not pump 30 psi on ground level tank
I installed this pump inside a rain water tank and it is unable to pump 30 psi. I adjusted the pressure switch down very low and now its running continuous.

Misleading description on AMAZON
Information on Amazon claims no pressure switch needed that it was build into well pump unit. This is not the case I tried it and it wouldnt shut off even at 80PSI. You will need a pressure switch. Other than that it seems to work great.
