Gotta change that pic - no tube included

The pump for my Fluval Flex 15 kept getting weaker and weaker - took it out & thoroughly cleaned it which helped. But after 2+ years finally I needed to replace as the pump was struggling to suck the water into the back chamber which meant the front chamber's water level started rising alarmingly. This is the exact replacement. Flow rate is improved over the tired original. Hopefully the usable life span will be improved over the original as well. Luckily I didn't need the tube that is pictured but not actually included as the original was still intact so I just swapped it over. Thought about 3rd party pumps but wasn't sure if I'd need adapters for the Fluval's proprietary connectors/tubing, etc. & wasn't sure about flow rate differences. Actually the tank's inhabitants all seemed livelier with the new pump so I'm glad I replaced the pump.

Awesome Pump

I got this pump as a replacement for my Fluval Flex 15 gallon. The pump that came with my tank stopped working so I searched around for a replacement when I came across this. It works and fits perfectly! I am extremely pleased with the seller and pump itself.

Inconsistent, poor quality control

My first Fluval Flex air pump was whisper quiet. This one was not. Ordered a second, also was not. Very disappointing. Their products can be great, but the quality control is lacking. You never know what you’re going to get. Worth it if you get a good one. Not worth if it you don’t.

Replacement

It was a replacement for the original that came with the aquarium setup. Less than 6 months old. After doing a heavy duty cleaning last week 9/22, I took the pump out to see if I could clean the propeller of debris that came through the sponge filtering system, sorry to say that it doesn’t appear removable! I used a small tubbing brush to clean the entrance and the intake slits on it. I don’t want to be replacing this pump every six months, so I put a micro-fiber pad around it with. Rubber band! I hope that work better.

TUBING HOSE/FITTINGS NOT INCLUDED

I have a Flugal Flex and wanted a complete replacement item in case it break in the future. Although the picture included in the description shows the Tubing hose and fittings, this item is not included. The pump itself is a quality pump for a 15 gallon aquarium, just wish I got what was pictured, thus only a 4 star review.

Twice failed

I love fluval, but this pump is no good. Second one failed after less than a year.

Don't waste your money

Worked for a few mins and changed the fuse still not working can't send it back coz I had to change plug from us to English plug Wasted £27

Pompe très silencieuse et puissante

La pompe est une des plus silencieuse que j'ai essayé et elle est vraiment facile a nettoyer. Malheureusement, le débit n'est pas réglable. Alors si je veux réduire le débit, j'installe une mousse sur la buse de sortie d'eau. Le débit est assez puissant pour ma 24 gallons de Lifegard Aquatics. Comme d'autres l'ont mentionné, le tube et l'embout du haut ne vient pas avec la pompe. MAIS, on peut acheter ces parties manquantes à part. Donc, cela reste vraiment pas cher.

Missing part

As you can see in the photo, the pump cord with an output hose. My pump came without it even if it was in a sealed box with a sticker saying that was checked/certified by Amazon. It cannot be used without the cord. Disappointing...

Not as shown

The pump is fairly similar to the one that came with my Flex 15, but it doesn't have the tubing. That was the entire reason I purchased the Fluval version... I think I'll send it back.
