At least it works...
If you're looking for cost-effective, then you've got it. If you're looking for solid construction, superior craftsmanship, and high-quality materials... look elsewhere. Don't get me wrong -- I used this unit on my last camping trip and it worked like a charm. I only fear for its longevity. Here's why: - The batteries "float" in their spaces due to the open design of the interior. This can lead to the contacts not quite hitting properly. - The latches that close the unit are made of thin plastic. Break these, and you'll be stuck duct-taping it shut. - The nozzles are all attached to the unit with a plastic strap. This is good to prevent against losing the nozzles, but makes it awkward to position and operate in tight space. I don't see the strap lasting forever, so the nozzles will eventually come loose. - The power switch is located in such a way that it's easy to accidentally turn on if not packaged in its box. I suppose the resounding message is this: Purchasing this unit will save you money, but be prepared to treat it gently to maximize it's life.

Texsport Battery Powered Air Pump for Recreational Inflatables
This battery powered inflator is unique for its color, and it's functional as intended. Even though it has three different nozzle sizes, it's impossible to use the middle one because it's a bit thick so I have to sand it down to fit an opening. This inflator is good enough to inflate most inflatables, but for camping inflatable beds, it is not possible to inflate it to a firm level.

Totally blows
This thing totally blows - like it should! All the different adapters are nice. I found I had the best luck using the large end to fill my air mattress most of the way, then I hardened it up with the skinny one that goes into the mouth inflator. The fit in the box is pretty tight so it might not be practical to keep it if you use this alot. 4 stars because it's easy to bump the on/off switch when dropping it in the box, or if something presses against the side of the box in transport. I found putting a piece of paper over one of the battery terminals between uses was an easy and effective solution.

Works great. I love that it airs up my camping bed so fast. I just hook it up and walk away and when I come back my bed is ready to go. Sure beats the manual pump I used in the past. I would say it aired up my queen size 12 inch thick air bed in less than 10 min. It is also great that hit has the 3 different heads because it is great for blowing up pool toys that other wise make you light headed trying to fill!

Not bad for a Coleman knock off
Not bad for a Coleman knock off. I have used it around 15 times and it still functions. However I would rather have the Coleman as my friend has one and it is much quieter. This one seems like there are stones whirling around inside of it. I am guessing it is the meshing of the gears, but it is very loud and makes you wonder if it will self destruct upon next use. But it does move air and pumps up mattresses in the same amount of time as the Coleman.

I didn't have any trouble with this, I love that it's got the 3 different tips and that they can stay attached while you use them so you don't loose them. I have used them now for an air mattress and for pool inflatables and it's worked great for both. the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that with the air mattress it can get the mattress blown up pretty well but doesn't have the power to get the pressure up to very firm but does a very good job of getting it to lightly firm.

Nicer than expected.
I've seen, handled, battery powered inflators before and thought how cheap they are, and never bought one. But eventually I wanted to buy something for current 'toys'. So I bought this one. I unpacked it, and felt the plastic, toggled the switch, and judged the air volume blowing and sucking. My conclusion - this is the best I've touched so far. The rocker switch is nice, not a cheap switch often seen. A note about plastics from my experiences. I can immediately judge plastics when I handle them. Good plastics have a smooth silky feel to them, cheap plastics just don't feel that way - hard to describe, but I know it when I feel it. Not too much more to say about an inflator, and nothing to say negative. I believe I made a right choice with this unit. Thus, I recommend this inflator. So far I haven't run down the first set of 4 ea - D batteries and can't say how long it will run on those, but will know soon with this continuing good weather!

It Did The Job
I didn't take this out of the box until I was already at the campsite. When I turned it on, I realized that the on/off switch does not make a good connection in the ON position. I had to put constant pressure on it while I used it. But, after using it five days, that problem stopped. It now works as it should so I won't be sending it back. Other than that, the pump did it's job. I have no issues with it's construction and the nozzles are attached to the pump so I don't have to worry about losing them.

No good
Not a good pump. It wouldn’t blow up even the simplest of inflatables. Spend the extra money and get a good one
