Very cute!

It comes with a compact with nice details. The characters painted well. The bracelet is very good quality. Caution: the gem on the earrings falls off if you are wearing them. Overall good toy!

hmm…

i don’t know why Amazon sent this in a BAG with no padding! i’m very shocked the box wasn’t damaged! This almost looks like someone had opened it because one of the tabs were out (shown in photo) and if it weren’t for the tape then i would have thought someone DID open this. The clear plastic has some scuffing but the most important parts are inside and they look fine for the most part… the chair doesn’t look to be painted all that well but only in the skirt ruffles. Other than that everything is ok. I wish Amazon/Mattel cared about how they packaged things if they’re going to collab like this. So far out of all the keepsakes, this was the least exciting one due to all the frequent mistakes most people were having. A positive about this however, was the fact this set was heavily discounted when i purchased it so i’m not too mad at it

Beautiful, but missing a piece

I’ll start off by saying that the set is beautiful and the display box is stunning! I love that they made the box such that you can take the pieces out but pop them back in to display the set if you want to. I had hoped that we would have vintage quality with this set, but sadly, that’s not the case. The plastic does feel a bit cheap and lightweight. However, my biggest complaint is that it was missing a piece. The purple chaise that is shown on the box is missing from my bracelet. I already contacted Amazon about it and they are sending out a replacement, but it’s really disappointing that they somehow overlooked it. Besides that major flaw, a sticker is also peeling, and the bracelet and compact are supposed to have tons of sparkly, silver glitter on them, but the glitter is barely visible. It just looks like black spots. Hopefully my replacement will be in better condition. If you’re a Polly Pocket collector, you have likely known this set was coming out for a very long time now. Mattel had so much time to get it right. How were so many quality issues overlooked?

Sooo happy to have my 90’s Polly’s back!

Sooo happy to see Mattel listened and made more 90’s tiny Polly Pocket’s! I’m a sucker for the old school clamshell. Basically anything y’all come out with, I’ll buy. You have me hooked! ???? Overall, I’m happy because I’m a collector and I adore these but the quality control seems to be way off. I’m not sure if they were rushed off the assembly line? I was originally quoted to receive it on September 1st - but it surprisingly came a month early. The photo show how the paint jobs are pretty sloppy in some areas. I also included photos of the bracelet that really can’t be used in any way except for display. When you try to close the snap on one end it pops off on the other. (And it’s not just me ????‍???? I had 3 other people try). Mattel, contact me! I will do whatever I can to help my beloved childhood toys come back full force!!! I’m an adult now.. with a job.. and not a single person to tell me ‘no’..!!! Please take full advantage of this information! ????????

Ahhhh

I absolutely love that they're coming out with the older style of the polly pockets, but I hate that the quality is so bad! The ring that came was bent so instead of keeping it as a keepsake I gave it to my daughter to play with. Please make the quality on these better. I find it crazy that the 90s made better quality toys than the 2000!!! Wish BlueBird didn't sell out!

So cute and a real throwback!

I absolutely love this set! It reminded me of how much fun we had ask kids playing with the original Polly Pockets, and I am so so happy to see the original dolls and logo back! I also love that the box is a little display case - such thoughtful packaging. Hope they keep making more of these Keepsake Collections!

Concept is good. Execution is meh.

I liked the idea of this jewelry set and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. After several odd delivery attempts where my orders were mysteriously sent back to sender and I received the set, I was underwhelmed. The product idea was great bit quality was horrible. The ring case was cute but the plastic felt very cheap and there was no glossy finish like the vintage ring cases so it felt like they missed the final step. No complaints with the bracelet but the rings are quite horrible. The clipping area easily falls off and the gold backing of the red jewel feels so thin. It felt like something I can get for $1 as a party favor at the dollar store. Pretty disappointed. They could have made it amazing but it was subpar at best.

Polly Pockets just aren't made the same anymore.

I collect Polly Pockets and was excited to check this set out. It feels poorly made because of most of the painting being slightly off and the stickers not pressing down correctly. The ring chair not being finished well feels extra cheap. I'm happy Mattel is trying but maybe they can try to not ruin an amazing toy.

Poor quality!

It’s great to see Mattel bringing the vintage style alive again and I absolutely adore the packaging. However, the QC is horrible. The chrome on the ring is chipped and the vanity is not casted properly. I have also emailed Mattel and no response so far. Really disappointed at Mattel consider they are the biggest company in the toy industry. Amazon did refunded me but super disappointed at Mattel.
