too strong and too heavy and damge my gunite pool
I want to keep it because it seems to clean well, but maybe too well. I have gunite pool and I want something that works but do not damage my pool. I know people said it won't hurt thr pook walls but my pool and backyard is mostly all cement and artificial grass. So first time this thing ran on a clean the basket and see sand in it. This is odd as I have really no sand in my backyard. I'm thinking it is from all blown in sand from the wind and sand got in my pool. I let it to run again for another two cleanings in a row and each time i collects more sand like settlements. I fear it's scraping my gunite. Again I see sand like in the filter basket. I assume this is scraping my gunite from it being a heavy machine and grinding the edges of my steps and walls. Gunite is the texture layer that addedtio make it feels sand like texture to the pool walls. As I have a narrow regular pool. So there sharp edges. I think I have to stop using this and return else it will continue to damage my pool.

Pleasantly surprised!
The house we bought came with a pool and a Polaris 9300. That robot worked great, until it didn’t… I fixed it last summer but it didn’t make it this summer. This Polaris NEO so far is awesome! I like the treads. The suction is great! The mesh basket does require a brush after you hose it out. I use a bottle brush, otherwise it has little pieces of stuff stuck in it. This was the same with my old Polaris. I do not leave it in the pool I use it for a cycle, take it out and clean it, then use it again a few days later. I wish it had the stand but I was able to modify my old stand to hold the robot. I keep the brain separate, off that stand. All in all I’m really happy with this so far. I was told to get the dolphin but I like Polaris better! I didn’t get to see the best years of the 9300, but this handles my steps, my walls, water line, the cord hasn’t twisted on me and nothing has hung it up yet!

great Robot vacuum
our first robot vacuum for the pool, works fantastic. does a great job removing sand and leaves. hurricane Ian destroyed our pool cage and it does and good job keeping our pool clean. I recommend it

Not the best
Have to run two to three times to fully clean 16 x 36 inground pool. Unit will run over leaves and not pick them up. Tends to move back and forth with little direction change. Does not capture fine material. Not the best for the price.

Now this is the it :)
This thing is a beast. She gets all over including the walls. I’ve used it several times so far with in the short time we’ve had it and just like our older unit this one scrubs every where. It may not get all the places but running it once a day she will eventually get it all. Love it. Best investment for the pool yet.

IT IS SIMPLE TO OPERATE IT HAS A WALL OPTION YOU CAN TURN IT OFF IF YOU JUST WANT TO CLEAN THE FLOOR IT WORKS FANTASTIC EASY TO DUMP THE MICRO SCREEN FILTER I JUST CANT SEEM TO FIND A PAPER ELEMENT FILTER ASSEMBLY FOR IT I NEED TO GET WITH POLARIS SO FAR I LOVE IT

Works great
We are replacing our much more expensive Dolphin. Seems to do a comparable job and will pickup larger leaves as well. Only downside is the hose is small and gets tangled as it works.

not suitable for uk market.
unclear on order that it only works on 110 v which is no good in uk 240v very disappointed. I bought in anticipation for our new pool completion. months ago and now find unsuitable and waste of money and return date passed

Does NOT come up to the waterline. Left BIG area uncleaned!
The media could not be loaded. It's not cleaning the entire pool, leaving large areas uncleaned and won't come up to the waterline at all. It just keep going back and forth on the same spot....really bad. No navigation at all. For the price range, I would expect it to at least come up to the waterline. NO! And it LOVES to tangle itself.
