High quality. Great looking. Smooth rolling.

I have Continental Gatorskins on my road bike and have had a lot of success with them so I initially purchased a set of Continental Racekings for my mtb, but didn't like the way they rolled. Bought a set of Continental Double Fighter 2.0's instead. They are a completely different tire even though they're only slightly smaller (2.0 vs 2.2) than the RaceKings. They look and feel better than the 2.2's and seem to be better constructed. My ride is mostly chip-sealed roads and gravel and I have no doubt these will wear well and provide a smooth and solid ride on those surfaces. The RaceKing 2.2's were difficult to mount and seemed to fight back. Frustrating. The Double Fighters went on with normal effort and fit snugly. The Double Fighters belong on this bike. Very happy with my purchase and intend to purchase a set for my Trek Multi-Track gravel bike conversion.

German Quality

Bottom line- Continental makes great bike tires. I put these tires on an extra mountain bike to turn it into a commuter-charity ride bike. Quiet, smooth rolling, with just enough tread for light duty off pavement work( rail trail-loamy single track). I recommend-I would purchase again without reservation.

Good for combo routes

I placed these on my hard tail carbon MTB. I live in a metropolitan area that has a combination of hard packed gravel and cement paths. Also spend time on asphalt. These ride great on all surfaces, including light mud. Smoother, faster ride than my nob tires. Great stability on fast corners, and wide enough to easily handle obstacles I wouldn't attempt on my road bike. I can't speak to durability, but I don't see any unusual wear after 250 miles.

Excellent all around commuting tire

A very good all around commuting and occasional single track tire. At first glance I didn't think they'd be good for anything other than tarmac, I was wrong. I like to ride from my house on tarmac, part gravel road, rail trails and single track. Lower the pressure before soft over hard and they are very predictable. It's not a mountain bike tire. So for all out off road it's not the best. But a very good all around tire that can do a little of everything with very little rolling resistance.

I like the tires ! Have a problem finding tires do to pandemic

The tires are really good ! I will get them again! They sent me a hard thing to go in-between the tire and tube! I think in shipping one fell out of box the box was a bit messed up ! Other than that the tire is the best I got !

Robust tire that favors road & light trail

So far so good, except agree w/above re: little stuff flying up on damp trails/terrain. They feel planted and roll smooth. Maybe a bit harder ride and they're a tad heavy; but I'm not worried for this bike - it's my mess around rig ('18 Crosstrail). A tight fit for this at 2.0 (claimed 50mm), but no real issues thus far.

Nice ride!

Heavy duty mountain bike with hardcore off-road tires, needed a set of tires for urban ridding when not on the trail. These fit the bill. Nice smooth ride and still work great on small gravel.

Nice Tire!

The tire arrived inside a plastic bag, in its natural dimensions. Nothing hit me in the face when I opened the bag. I was dissappointed to see how shallow the tread was. I was expecting it to be much deeper. There were no problems with the installation, the rotation of the tire is clearly marked on it. The tire rides very well. It is much quietter and much faster than the bontrager mountain bike tire that it replaced. Cracks, grooves and imperfections of the road are nearly imperceptible now. I wanted a tire that was faster and less noisy, as I mostly ride on paved paths. This tire is a very good replacement for a mountain bike, if you mostly ride on paved roads. Off road, on grass, and dirt, I didn't see much difference than the old tire either. So overall, I am very happy, it was the tire that I had in mind. My bike hasn't lost its "off road" character either, as the tread still looks rough and grippy on the edges. I just hope that the tread lasts as long as the previous tire (~2000km) or more. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because the delivery took a month and a half from the time I ordered it. You will enjoy this tire, I just don't know for how long.

great tyres

i bought these to use on my e mountain bike as commuting in big thick knobbly tyres was getting hard work too much rolling resistance on the roads so I bought these tyres for £20 each they have lasted over 1000 miles and added about 5 miles on to my battery as there is loads less resistance on the road. Off road there great for gravel paths and light mud. I wouldn't bother going out in them in heavy mud and would change back to the more knobbly ones that came with the bike. Well worth the money I have paired them with slime inner tube so not had a puncture yet i commute 15 miles a day so well happy. I will be buying them again.

A Great Tyre

I have been riding on this tyre for over 2,000km, and not a problem. I ride roads and trails with it and found the grip to be good. Not as good as the mountain bike tyre it replaced, but I wasn't riding the muddy surfaces the old tyres could cope with. The rolling resistance is much less with these, without losing wet road grip. The biggest win has been not a single puncture since fitting them. The old tyres, I had three in the front and two in the rear before thinking I needed tougher tyres.
