Worth it.

Product is great for an added sense of security for your pet if you don’t want to microchip or just haven’t had 40.00 to get it done at the vet’s office or whatever the world your reasoning is. Anyway, the only thing I thought was slightly misleading (I don’t always read everything through) is that it’s got this little “gps” thing but it always says “home safe” whether they’re in the yard or not. It’s not like it actually locates your animal and tells you what street it’s on etc unless someone actually scans the barcode. Also, if your pet has a habit of slipping collars, this product is a little pricey to keep buying over and over.

Buy a regular pet tag!

The tag itself is nice, quiet and great for small dogs. (I ordered two small tags for my two Chihuahuas.) Color choice is limited to blue or pink. The website needs a lot of work. It's not user friendly for lost/found pets. It seems like the main point of the website is sales of pet products. The website is extremely slow loading information. I was finally able to figure it out and get my pet's info loaded. In order for it to show up on a map, the finder has to allow access to their location. Most people are not going to do that. It does give the finder your contact info and the pet's info. Pretty much the same as if your pet had your contact info on their tag. In fact, it would save time and confusion if your pet just had a regular pet tag with contact info on it. With this tag, they have to login to a website to get your contact info. Also, if someone loses their pet, they have to log into the website and update the pet as being lost. It would be great if there was an app that you could just click a button once or twice to update the dogs status. Anyone who has lost a pet knows when you're in a panic the last thing you want to do is try to remember a web address, login and how to update a pets status! This could be a really great product if there were some upgrades.... of course they do offer additional services for an annual fee. None of which guarantee you'll find your lost (or stolen) pet. Luckily both my dogs are microchiped. I'll use this tag because its quiet... bug I'm not counting soley on it to reunite me with a lost pet.

Just got my first tag and was so pleased with it that I bought a bunch of others as stocking stuffers for my friend's pets. The friendly pink dog face is realy cute. Was super easy to setup my dog's profile, snapped a quick picture and put my contact info. I wanted to test out the tag so I pretended to "lose" my dog and worked just like it said - when I entered the code on the back, I received a text message and email saying that my pet had been found - and the email had a map of the location my dog was found - in this case, my house :)

Returning for something better

I was lucky enough to recieve a code with both zeros and O's. (yay me) I registered, did the profile, and thought I'd pretend I lost my pet just see how it works. I entered the correct website on the tag, and entered the code, correctly with zeros and the O's this time. (during registration, it took me three times to get them right) the site asked if I wanted to enable my location, as I used my cell phone, I said yes. (location is always enabled) I recieved and text and an email stating that people that found my dog would contact me soon. No GPS map was sent to me. I will be returning, the people who fund your pet get all the information, except your address. So they now know what her name is, how old she is, and the breed she is. Nothing here to encourage them to return pet to you. It's like saying, here's the dog info for your records, you might as well keep her!

Great product! I have always thought how terrible it would be if my phone number changed or I moved and my best buddy's went missing and his tag had his old information on it!! I love that I can login to the site and update the information from home as often as I need.

The ring that attaches to the dogs collar is horrible

Once I got the rings on their collars it wasn't even 15 mins my girl had it on and it fell off the ring into my heater where I can no longer get it. The whole wire unraveled and now she does not have one anymore after they were just delivered today.

Great necklace and you can buy a membership so that vets and pounds can look for your dog. It is almost like a chip but not quite.

Tested it, seems to work!

This is a handy product, it keeps a digital profile on your pet so if someone finds them and enters the code online, they get a bunch of information about the animal (including contact info and a photo). I entered the code to test it, and my partner and I immediately got emailed notifications that our pup had been "found". This (in addition to her ID tag) gives me added peace of mind.

I received a used product

The Box was retaped, and there was residue on the face of the tag and it was scratched. Returned for refund

Lost tag

if this was really to happen I just wanna know do you need to live in United States, because I'm in Canada. How would this even work please explain, thanks
