Great Tackle Box

I highly recommend this tackle box. I’ve used Plano tackle boxes for the last 40 years, still have, and use my first Plano tackle box. Very sturdy and easily accessible during those exciting times when the fish are hitting hard. You won’t be disappointed!

Very well made.

Made in the USA, lots of compartments, brass latch on front to hold lid securely . Great price, very well made, my grandson is going to like his gift. You really need to check these tackle boxes out, you won't be disappointed.

Sturdy, perfect size, and Made in the USA!

I have a huge "guide" tackle box that I used in Alaska but didn't want to lug around a 20lb box to go out in my jon boat. This is perfect; it's big enough that I was able to get all my essential gear in the bottom and all the hooks, sinkers, bobbers, a bunch of jig heads and skirts in the single tray and two little storage things on top. You can't beat this quality.

Very useful and a good size

Everything about this box is great except for the plastic pieces that expand and allow you to access all the little compartments. They're rather flimsy and I hope they'll hold up. Otherwise I love it, particularly the size and the latch - that part is well designed and sturdy.

Great multi-purpose multi-level box

I was fortunate enough, to grab two of the three tray tackle boxes while they were still $12.99. I bought one for a son-in-law, who just bought a boat and has become an avid fisher after catching his first fish on a fishing trip with me. I liked the one I bought for him so well, I had to get one for myself. I then purchased the single tray tackle box for one of my granddaughters, who caught her first fish on a fishing trip with me, and decided she needed to go fishing with poppa when he went. Or course she tires of fishing and does play in the water a lot, but that is all in a day of fishing and relaxation. I only regret that immediately after I made my last purchase of these tackle boxes, the price increased to $25.44 for the triple tray tackle box, as I had decided to buy one for my son and to buy two more for other family members. The price increase has deterred me from those purchase, but we will survive and find other comparable tackle boxes at a lower price. Overall, the tackleboxes are good quality and were reasonably priced.

Suitable for a little girl

My 5 year old granddaughter loves it. She was asking for a big girls tackle box so this made a lovely birthday gift. Just what she wanted and she’s still catching more fish than the other kids.

Great for Hobby Supplies. Potentially not great for fishing.

I purchased this tackle box to house all of my miniature painting supplies and for that use, it works great! However, if I was to buy this as an actual tackle box for fishing, my overall rating of the product would probably be a 2-3. The build quality is where it really lacks. Its cheap, light, flimsy plastic, when you expand the trays it becomes to top heavy to stand properly and will topple over so will need something heavy in the bottom of the box to keep it balanced. Even with nothing in the trays it topples. I can see this being good for a young child that is as its cheap, light and small. Also, the compartments on top seem to small for anything. For anyone looking for a actual tackle box to use regularly, I would suggest looking else ware, especially if you expect it to get beat up a bit. For anyone looking for good storage/transportation for their hobby supplies (painting, sewing, knitting, etc) this is a great cheap option. I have added some photos, there is one where you can see the box lifting, that is what I was talking about by toppling. Its also a bit more tame in the picture as I've put some heaver stuff in the bottom.
