Got this for my daughter's bike. I think it's good and has storage, but she doesn't really care to use it. Teenagers are fickle, so I guess if you get it for your kid, you probably should check with them first.

Good capacity, holds smaller phones, touch screen doesn't work with clear cover

This is a generous Top Tube Bag that will indeed hold your lunch and a small cold-pack. It's a little wide, which makes for a super-tight velcro strap-in with the single wide belt - which is needed to prevent wobbling. It would perform better with two bottom straps. I use it for a lunch box on my commute and it's great to have lunch separate from what I carry separately, and the strap handle is great for opening while pedaling or using it as a lunchbag handle. The smartphone sleeve it tricky - my Otterboxed iPhone would not fit, however it I took the protective case off, it fits snugly. The glare shield worked well enough, but I ended up using it as a convenience pocket with a list of directions covering contents. The iPhone touchscreen would not work, and I have an Otterbox cover which is a thin layer. I'm known to drop my phone so I keep the case on. This is a good bag for carrying lunch or other contents that you may want to access while you bike along.

A bit too big for the single velcro strap, phone shade could be better, Touchscreen doesn' work

I have a Planet Bike Snack Sack, and this is basically a twice the width on the top tube, but the attachment is the same. The issue is that the bottom is so wide that the single velcro strap distorts the bottom when you have it tightened enough to keep it from wobbling all over the place. They would have done better to have sewn it closer to the center of the pouch. Also, the smartphone shade is warped - this is a sewn piece of nylon with 2 layers and it looks like many competitors use a single layer of thicker material - less expensive but also less likely to be curved. The touchscreen on my phone won't work through the plastic (Samsung galaxy S9) I have a tempered glass protector and My guess is that they didn't test with a tempered glass cover. Mine is even the one that uses the UV-cure adhesive so super thin. One of the best features is the dual zipper which gives you a huge opening so you can open the main compartment and pull your food out while riding. Overall I LOVE my Planet Bike Snack Sack, but the Planet Bike Lunch Box has a few issues they could improve.

Just OK

Has some decent design features, but ultimately not a great job tube holder. Only a single (but fairly wide strap) on the bottom -- and no option to bolt on. The plastic area for the phone is nice, but also is going to be the thing that wrecks first with the UV/Cold. It's a good size, not super huge, but can hold quite a bit of stuff (although you gotta keep it kind of light because of the single strap). Zippers are ok, but could be a bit smoother for one hand operation. Overall it's a decent value for a top tube bag, but spending more (probably 2-3x in fairness) would get some nicer mounts, contrast interior, slightly nicer fabric, etc

Lots of Pluses!

This has so many pluses. The smartphone easy grab is one. That they thought to make the interior white is such a simple genius idea! I can find things very easily. It really does hold a lot. Of course, the fact that I can put in some energy bars is lovely (don't tell anyone, but sometimes my energy bar looks a lot like a candy bar!)
