Love it but
I like to cook on the top rack but used first time at nascar race and put filet and twice baked potato on top rack to cook. Opened shortly after, as the temp was getting really hot, and the top had smashed the 3/4 in steak and stuck the cheese on potato to inside lid. Not enough clearance to cook on that rack. Moved to bottom and it cooked fine but really hot really fast and had to continually open lid to keep from burning them...

Great table top grill
Perfect if you need a grill for two or three. There was an issue with this igniter, but I called the company, and they shipped a replacement. It's refreshing that a company stands behind its product as Pit Boss does.

Nice, but.....
Nice grill but it doesn't get particularly hot, resulting in more of a slow bake than a real grilling. It absolutely will not get hot enough to sear or char whatever it is you're cooking. I've found that cook time has at least doubled with this grill compared to my old grill, and that's with a VERY long warm-up period (10 min compared to just 3 or 4 minutes with my previous grill).

Nice portable grill, does what it needs to.
Bought this because we didn't want a huge grill for just two of us. It assembled easily, and looks nice. Functionally, I have not had the over heating problem some have said. I think the single burner 10,000 btu helps with that. I've cooked Chicken on the grill and was able to keep the temperature where I needed it after preheating the grill hot to seer the outsides. The grill plate below the wire rack, is very thin, to the point it does get over red hot, and I don't believe it will last. The grill is advertised as being Stainless Steel. Well, if it is, the outer material must be a very cheap high carbon , because it is Magnetic. As for the thickness, it is all fairly thin. The edges inside that are exposed are dangerous, as in sharp, so if you clean your grill as I do after each use, be very careful, I have small cuts from the first cleaning. The small gas bottle connects on the side and the temperature valve is right on the stem that sticks out. It works okay this way, and for preheat, and cooking the chicken, total time of 50 minutes used a bit over half a bottle. Most of the cooking time was on high, as it was cold outside, I tried not to open the grill much, but as that was my 1st try with the new grill, I kept checking a lot. Portability of this is great, just latch it closed and go. The propane bottle will fit inside for travel, don't try that if the grill is hot though, and you can unscrew the bottle connector/ regulator if you want to also. Clean up wasn't too bad, but the best way will probably be soap and water on the warm grill insides, then a long bristle dish brush, and finally a hosing out. Oh, the Drip tray did it's job well, but it's easy to push too far back as it will over run the little bent stops in the back easily. All in all, it's a good grill. I'd give it more stars if the " Stainless Steel" were of better quality, and a bit thicker.

A fine tailgating grill but not perfect.
Feels durable. Love the stainless steel look. I've used this at three tailgates this summer and have been happy with the results. I find there are definitely hot spots and cooler spots, I suggest doing the "toast test" to figure out where they are. (cover the cooking surface with white bread and turn on the burner to evaluate which areas are hotter or cooler) You might need a small-ish brush to clean under the warming grates. Mine's about the size of a sandwich and I can't get all the way back. I did have one of the bolts and bolt covers come off during transport (luckily they were recovered as they fell into into the grill under the burner!) so make sure those are as tight as they can be. I'll be checking mine on a regular basis.

Solid grill, but sharp edges on the legs
This grill looks well made and that'll last many years. I did the grill burn-off as specified to get rid of any foreign matter. On the lowest setting it reached around 700 degrees, so I I don't know if that's gonna be a problem when trying to grill food at low temperature. Unfortunately I cut myself while folding back the legs, or closing the latches, I'm not sure when it happened. It would be nice if they round the sharp edges. I'll update my review when I actually get to grill this weekend.

Sturdy unit for the money
Very happy with this BBQ. We bought it to use while doing backyard renos as we could not use our full size one for the season. It accommodates cooking for family of 4 adults. We hoped it could be used in future for car camping and local picnics. The overall unit is solid, a bit bulky for car camping though, but quite portable if you have the space in your vehicle. We liked the fact that it uses the small propane cylinders we already use for other camping equipment. Like some other reviews, there are some edges that are a bit of a hazard if you’re not careful, but as long as you use caution when handling and washing the unit, it’s not a issue while cooking on the BBQ. There is a very small section of the grill that does not heat up as hot due to the “U” shaped element, but we place food accordingly on the grill knowing this and so not a big deal. Overall happy with the unit.

Great Grill
Perfect little grill for my front porch, works great, doesn't flare up. You can run it like a Keg Broiler Bar, full heat with lid up, works great at a bit past medium when lowering the lid between flips. Only downfall is that if its quite windy it does blow out if not at full blast. For $150 cant go wrong.

Flare up boss
The design of the deflector guarantees constant flare ups if you are grilling anything that drips at all. Even a little. I can't believe how poorly designed this grills deflector is.
