Fits like a glove

This thing is awesome. Has magnets in it to hold it tight. Well worth the money. I used it when it was -30 and worked great on my 700C

A real + for long and low temp cooking

In the winter (really all year long) most of my cooking is done long and low temp. In the winter, this can really eat up pellets, but this helps stabilize the temp as well as reducing drastically pellet use. Great buy!!

Heavy and well made cover

Fits a 700 Series Louisiana Grill (same manufacturer as Pit Boss, the Louisiana Grill cover is more expensive and out of stock) - I had to take the handle off to get the cover on and relocated the tray lower (the cover fits with the tray where it is, but it bunches up). 25° F out and the grill is maintaining temp and using a lot less pellets.

Great addition to the Pit-boss Pro 1150

Bought this in advance of a Christmas Eve smoke one the forecast showed it was going to be subzero temps with below zero windchill and high winds. 6 degrees, 30mph winds, -10 windchill, this insulated blanket allowed temp to hold steady at 250 for 4 hours. Looking forward to using it the rest of the winter, and the reflective shell may also help in the summer when the sun beats on the black steel. Great product

Saves heat

Prior to this blanket my pellet grill had a hard time maintaining the target temperature. Once I added this to it the meat cooked more steadily and the grill kept temperature a lot better. I used this in a 20° garage. Did the job.

Love this

Bought this for the 850 Pro. It fits fantastic and works great. There is a circle cutout from where a temp Guage would be on other models but it doesn't affect the look or performance too much I'm very happy

I should have bought this sooner!!

This fits VERY well and really helps keep the temps inside the barrel nice and steady. At -15 to -20C I was burning about 1.5lb/hour at 180-200 degrees for smoking. I wasn't sure how well it would hold up to opening/closing the lid, but the magnets really do help keep it in place very well Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to extend their smoker season through cold Canadian winters.

Helps to regulate heat in cold weather

Overall, this is a good product. It really helps to regulate the internal temperature of the smoker in cold weather. We did find, however, that our smoker will not work when it is colder than -20 degrees Celsius. An "ERR" message shows up on the screen. Cons: The magnets are so strong on this blanket, that it is difficult to open the lid. We have to peel back the lower front of the blanket to open the lid. In addition, the lid will not stay up on its own with the blanket on. So, I have to hold the lid up with my left hand, and manipulate the contents of the smoker with the right.

Keeps the heat

As it was getting cooler I noticed that I was having big temperature swings. This cover has seemed to have fixed this in the colder climate. I imagine my pellet will use will reflect this in the winter. I have the Pit Boss 820d - it fits perfectly and it attaches by very strong magnets. If you plan on using your grill lots in the cold this will be a nice benefit.

Insulation works fairly well

This is as advertised, and did arrive very quickly. There are magnets on the ends of the cover front and back to hold it in place. It is heavy, so not going anywhere. There is not a side panel though. While the pellet hopper on the left side protects the unit, the right side, with the stack does not have any coverage from this cover.
