Nice tongs
Well, there were cheaper versions of this online and recommended by Amazon have use this brand in the past, and I’ve never had a problem with it. Seems to be decent quality no complaints.

Excellent Quality
I've owned other kitchen tongs. These are sturdy and well made. They are hefty. You can tell they are quality when you first pick them up. Reviews of some of the other brands complain of the spring rusting, for example. Not on these. No sign of that even after a couple months of frequent use and washing. The locking mechanism has a positive feel and works well. The silicone tips are firm and thick and won't damage non-stick cookware. Yes, these cost more than some other tongs, but if you want a quality product that is well made and going to last I don't think you will find much better. (BTW, it's worth doing a little research on nylon-tipped vs. silicone-tipped tongs.)

Best tongs I've ever used.
The tongs are great. My whole life I've only used dollar store nylon tongs, so this felt like a splurge, but it was very much worth it. They feel quite sturdy. The only issue might be one of the handle rubber inserts moves a bit making me think it will eventually wear off. Cleaning is fine, mostly the same as any tongs, there's nothing crazy on these that would change that. The silicone dries with water spots in the dishwasher, but that might be the water's fault. I don't see me ever buying a different pair of tongs to replace these if they break.

Good all round but needed to replace after a couple of years when metal was exposed on one tip
After almost daily use for a couple of years, we could see the silicone had worn through on one tip which made them useless for our purpose of protecting our non-stick pan. However we liked this enough that we immediately bought another pair!

Heavier but Sturdier
I noticed these OXO brand are heavier but also sturdier than other brands. But it does tend to make it hard to hold and manipulate. I think the shorter tongs would be better. This pair of tongs might be great for grilling.

Worth the money
Cheap tongs are everywhere but I already had one pair of OXO tongs that I like. They just didn't have silicone tips. A lot of places have nylon tipped tongs, okay for salad but not heat resistant enough for cooking. I decided to buy these because of the OXO brand. Definitely worth the money. Much nicer, sturdier than the cheaper tongs I looked at.

Almost perfect
When the nylon tip on one tong of my beloved 4-year-old OXO tongs was broken in the course of packing for a move, I opted for the Silicone tip version in buying a replacement. The silicone brings at least three advantages, that being that the silicone is much more durable, they don't slip when gripping metal grills in the toaster oven, and they tolerate an even higher temperature. The only negative characteristic of the new tongs is that the metal is not finished as well as the older tongs, leaving quite sharp edges where the metal has been sheared. In most instances, those sharp edges are tucked 'inside' the tong handles and are not a hazard, but if you are a bit careless, this can result in a shallow but quick and painful gash.

These tongs are very well made. I wanted the silicone ends so that I can use them with my Greenspans. They work as advertised. A good item to have in your kitchen.

I bought these for my waffle maker and tri-clad cookware. They’re nice. I could’ve gone for a 9 inch but I’m happy. I love OXO stuff!!

Build to last for ever
The media could not be loaded. This tong by OXO is a must have for every kitchen. I got this to add it to my OXO collection and I cannot recommend this enough. The 30cm size is just perfect. Big enough to be effective enough to reach the end of an oven, but yet not big enough for your storage drawer. The heads are made with silicone which give you great grip on foods like vegetables, meats etc. I have been using them for some time now, and they still look like new. I have even dip them inside a hot boiling oil to stir potatoes. The grips are made of stainless steel with silicone padding on the sides to give you amazing control over flipping and gripping food. I have even used them outdoor on my grill without any problems. As always, very pleased with this OXO product and cannot recommend this enough, a must have for all kitchens.

Very happy, exactly what I need
I spent far too long on tongs research, but I'm very happy with the result. Good to have sturdy tongs that wont scratch the pans.

Pretty solid and reliable
Contrary to previous tongs I bought, this one is worth it. Pretty solid and it does not fall apart like the others.
