Beautiful quality set but you're paying for the name

This is a seriously beautiful set of dishes but honestly the price makes me choke. I love pretty things but . . . $62 for one place setting just hurts. This is nice quality and has just the right weight to it. The shape of the plates is nice and they are flat. The bowl is deep and perfect for drinking that last bit of soup or milk without spilling it down the side. I don't care for the shape of the much -- the base is narrow enough that it is easy to set it down a little crooked or bump it. I would have liked the handle to be slightly larger to make it easier to hold. The color is absolutely beautiful. The molding is elegant and delicate and I think it would fit well in most decors. The set is dishwasher safe, otherwise cleaning all those little valleys in the decoration would be a pain. The set is also microwave safe and doesn't get hot when microwaved like some dishes I've tried. The plates -- both big and small, have three flaws each on the bottom rim. That is due to being set on stilts for the glaze firing in the kiln. Many companies will either not glaze the entire bottom or use the stilts on the rim around the bottom so it doesn't show but not on this set. The star deducted is due to that and the price.

Very Elegant

The name "Lenox" stands for exceptional quality in my book. This set is very elegant and deserves a spot on your table. The color I received is a robin's egg blue. I absolutely love it! There's an intricate design that's like a raised etching. It's simple gorgeous. The pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, so they're durable as well as lovely. LOVE Lenox and these plates/design does not disappoint!

First of all, I love Lenox because of their commitment to quality and customer service. I have dealt with them in the past and they were absolutely amazing in dealing with an issue with my set of dishes. Secondly, this is a lovely, pale blue, delicate design which shows off the food. I'm a food blogger and can and will absolutely be using these for food photography on one of my recipes. Can't say enough about Lenox. If you like this style/pattern, you won't be disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Pleasing to the eye and touch

The Lenox Chelse Muse is a delicate set of dishes the will please the sense of touch and eye. They are so pretty and are dishwasher safe. The color is a lovely soft teal to blue. They are expensive but well worth the price. The coffee cup narrows down to a lovely base and the smaller plate reflects the larger plate but with a softer edge. The bowl is deep with raised edges reflecting the two plates. I can recommend these with no problem. They are worth the price.

Gorgeous, and supremely practical

Sometimes when something is pretty to look at, it's not so practical to use. This Lenox place setting is surprisingly hefty: it's thick and weighty. It has a nice feel to it. It has a rustic look, with a light grey-green patterned ironstone that doesn't appear too cute, but still has a classic floral pattern. I think this would appeal to someone looking for a non-fussy pattern that still retains a classic feel.

Stunning

The Lenox Chelse Muse Fleur Blue 4 Piece Place Setting is simply stunning. They are amazing quality and so pretty. The detail are carefully crafted and I am extremely pleased with this place setting. They are also dishwasher and microwave safe which makes them even more wonderful. I highly recommend this pristine place setting.
