Lenox Butterfly Meadow Melamine Accent Plate

Lenox Butterfly Meadow Melamine Accent Plate. This is a nice little accent plate with flowers on it. Keep in mind that Butterfly Meadow is the pattern name that this plate will work with. It is not meant to be used in the microwave. It is easy to clean. Has a nice gloss type finish to it. Can be used to decorate with in your kitchen if you would like as it is light enough to hang on a wall or even just on a plate holder. We use it for little desserts when having my daughter's friends over. They love this plate and it just makes their little gatherings feel like special occasions. For us we really enjoy using this little plate. I would watch for a good sale on it though because to me the price seems to be a bit much for just a cute little plate that most people are not going to use on a daily basis. If you are looking for a fun plate to add some charm to your special occasions then maybe this is the right one for you.

Attractive, medium sized melamine plate

This medium sized plate has a beautiful decorative design and scalloped edges, making it appear as something elegant even though it is just a melamine plate. This is dishwasher safe and lightweight. While I like this plate, it is a fairly expensive item for melamine, being the Lenox brand. Thus, this may not be suitable for the budget conscious person. If you don't mind the cost for the American brand name and unique design then this is a plate worth considering.

Good quality 9 inch porcelain plate

This is an adorable little 9 inch plate, which may be used for snack, light salad and dessert. This product displays a retro feel that's great for a kitchen. The plate is uniquely patterned with melamine accent in the center. It is strong and sturdy and safe to use in dishwasher and microwave oven.

Beautiful glossy finish just like the bone china

I've had some Lenox china for a little while now, but this is my first piece of Lenox made with Melamine. I'm beyond impressed with it. Just sitting on the table next to a china plate, visually I can't tell the difference. They both have a bright glossy finish and the details on the Melamine plate aren't skimped on just because it's not done in bone china. The flowers are beautiful. It's only when I handle the plate that I can tell the difference between the Lenox china and the Melamine. It's lighter weight and of course not nearly as fragile. Melamine pieces would be great for replacing some of the larger serving dishes since after loading them up with food, they would be a lot easier to carry. This dish is really pretty and even though it's not made with china, it matches some of my other Lenox dishes, so it looks great being used along side them!
