Light and nice quality dishes

This review is for :Corelle 6-Piece 6.75" Appetizer Round Plates, Vitrelle Triple Layer Glass, Lightweight Round Plates, Dessert Plates, Chip and Scratch Resistant, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe, Brasserie" Well, they are good quality dishes. They come in a set of 6. They are Made In USA. I really like the Checkered design but I received the one shown in the photos. Overall, these are useful light dishes for a piece of cake or dessert.

Nice small glass plates

I like these Corelle 6" Round Plates well enough. They are simple and attractive. Small sized for a desert, appetizer, or a single "home made/loaf of bread sized" sandwich. Has a nice design in black around the outer edge/ring. Nice look. It says they are lightweight but I kinda disagree. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. They are glass and feel like it's nicely made and quality. Seem to hold up fine in the microwave so far. A bit pricey but nice quality and no complaints.

Depending Corelle

These match other Corelle ware that we own. This is a perfect size for desserts or appetizers like cheese and crackers.

I use these for meal prep as well as snacks

I already had a set of four white appetizer plates, but they never last me until my next dishwasher cycle, so I grabbed this set of six. The black band around the edge is fairly neutral, so it will go with other Corelle dishes I have, although grey or dark blue would probably work better. Not many of my dishes have any black in them. I don't really eat appetizers at home, but I do eat snacks and fruit, and I use these for meal prep as well. They are a very handy size.

Simple and Clean

Was looking for new plates, and being a lifelong user of Corelle, I HAD to get this 6-piece. Although they don't feel like the plates from years past, they are still one of the best for everyday use. I do wish they didn't become so cheap with the packaging, because they only placed cardboard in-between every other plate. I'm glad all nothing broke, but placed extra cardboard sheets just to be safe. Overall if you're on a budget and looking for good quality plates for basic use, you can't go wrong with Corelle.

Corelle 6-Piece 6.75" Appetizer Round Plates

These 6.75-inch plates are the perfect size for sandwiches, salads, desserts, appetizers, and can even be used for snacks to save on dishes. I can fit more of these into the dishwasher than I can full size dinner plates. And since they're freezer safe, I can put them in the freezer with an entree or a slice of cake and they don't take up more room than I have. In my house, there is a rule that only Corelle dishware is allowed to go into the microwave, because I'm sure that they're truly microwave-safe. Corelle, which is made of Vitrelle glass, is highly resistant to chips, cracks, and scratches. They’re smooth and clean-looking and they come out of the dishwasher shining like new. But because the non-porous surface of Corelle is so smooth, stuck-on foods are not a problem and they’re easy to wash by hand. These dessert dishes are lightweight and feel like porcelain, though they don’t stain like porcelain. On the shelf the dishes feature compact stacking, which maximizes my space in the dish cabinet. The classic style of these plates adds a look of elegance to the table, and it will mix and match with some plain white Corelle I already own. Corelle is my favorite dinnerware, which I’ve been using for years. I would highly recommend this set of appetizer plates to anyone looking to invest in great dishes for everyday use that will last and last.

Wonderful set!

I grew up using this brand of dishes because my mom had a lot of stuff from them. Now, I can have my daughter grow up using them too! And believe me, just about anything from this brand will last forever! These plates are beautiful and are perfect for every day use or for something more formal. They look great regardless of the occasion! This particular set are a bit smaller than your regular dinner plates because they are mainly for appetizers or for side dishes, like a salad for example. The simple yet elegant design that is around the edges of them is very pretty and since they are black and white, they will go great with the decor, no matter what the color scheme is or the theme. When it comes to cleaning up, these are extremely easy to get clean! Just a little soap and water, and you're good to go!! They're lightweight yet strong and durable. You literally couldn't ask for a better set of plates than these!! I highly recommend them to everyone!!

Corelle is Consistently a Great Product

My very first dish set was Corelle, and here I am 40 years later, returning to Corelle. It is lightweight, takes up little cabinet space, and doesn't chip or get gray knife marks like stoneware. It is made of glass and does well in the microwave and dishwasher. Affordable, a great selection of patterns, a decades-long reputation, and most of their dishes are made in the U.S.A. These 6.75" round plates are small, but perfect for dessert, cheese/crackers, toast, etc. Corelle dishes are made for frequent use, such as everyday family dishes, at a rental unit, and as gift sets. Many of the patterns are interchangable. They are budget-priced because they will last a very, very long time. Again, they are lightweight, thin, but are very hard to chip, scratch or break. They do not have the delicacy and beauty of china or porcelain, nor the heftiness of stoneware, but they have many positive attributes.
