LOVE this travelling flatiron!
I travel quite a bit for work, and on days when I need a little touch-up or a quick smoothing out of my hair, this iron delivers big time. The compact size fits well in my carry-on luggage, and the heat-resistant cover means I can stow and go in a hurry. It's also been an "edge saver" for me, allowing me to extend my relaxers by a couple weeks before having to chemically treat my hair. The compact size allows me to get really close to my roots, and extends my hairstyle perfectly. Other reviewers have mentioned this as well, but I think it's worth repeating again. This iron gets HOT HOT HOT, and with no heat setting it means that you really should (a) use an ample amount of your favorite heat protecting product to keep your hair from frying like a Thanksgiving turkey, or (b) if 400+ degrees is just too much, try heating up the flatiron, then unplug it to get the temperature to drop to an acceptable level (and yes, you may have to do this a couple times if you have a lot of hair to work with). The smooth plates make styling easy, so one pass should absolutely do the trick, even for super coarse and resistant hair like mine. Even though I have very short hair, I see this working equally well for those of you with longer tresses. I'm a bonafide T3 addict, and this was a welcome addition to my other T3 products that I use regularly. This is a wonderful tool for those of you who desire consistent results, superior straightening, portability, and durability. Give it a try!

I recently got a straight hair perm, so I don't have a need to straighten all my hair. However, I do like to style my bangs differently and they require a flat iron to slightly curl it. I figured I'd get the compact/travel size because I will only use it for my bangs and it's cheaper than the T3 flat iron. This compact flat iron only has one heat setting (I don't know the actual temperature, but it's very hot) and due to the high heat, it really is a one pass flat iron. When you plug in the flat iron, it's really quick to heat up and takes probably 30 seconds. The light will flash and when it's ready, the light will stay on. I'm excited to actually travel with this flat iron because it's so small!

Love it
I really like this I have hair just above my shoulders and found it harder to use the bigger flat iron. This is perfect size and get very hot so I can get all my hair done in just a few mins. I have used it for curls, waves and to straighten my hair. It works great for all of these. I wish they made it in black but over all I would buy this again. I like that it has a case and an on off switch. It’s great for traveling but I now use it as my every day iron.

I really like these!
When they say single pass it's real! This flat iron works. I use it straightened my daughter's hair who is natural curly not coarse hair. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with hard to straighten hair. However... I have to say I own at least 4 high-end flat irons of different sizes and for these to be so small they are soooo hot. If you don't use a good heat protectant on your hair, for those that have chemically treated hair or thin hair, your hair will be severely damaged. Having said that I'll reiterate...they work and at 410 degrees are hot. I actually like them ALOT!

Heats very fast and great for thick hair!
Just got this in the mail yesterday and used it for the first time today. Like any new hair straightener, it heated up fast and "steamed" when I straightened my hair. Make sure you put some sort of hair protectant spray on it beforehand! I have short, thick hair and had no problem using it for loose waves although I did have to take smaller sections because it is smaller than the normal hair straightener. It is very cute and compact, and will be perfect to travel with. It has beautiful rose gold accents that look great with the overall white...exactly how I expected it. It also comes with velcro attached to the cord so that you can easily bunch the cord together. No other hair curler or straightener I've owned had this so that's a plus!

Super impressed with this little workhorse
Super impressed with this little workhorse. It's true as advertised, single pass is all you need to get straight or curly hair! I use mine often and look forward to using it each time. I've had other flat irons that would snag and fry my hair and I promptly returned them! This glides beautifully on my thick hair, never snagging or frying. I also love that it comes with a cover for easy storing and traveling. The cover does get warm if you cap it quickly after using but I just let it sit out for a few minutes and it cools right back down. 100% recommend to anyone in the market for a flat iron, regardless if they need a travel flat iron or not!

Beautiful design. Sleek. Well made. Smooth and doesn’t pull hair. Heats up in an instant. Small enough for travel...have seen smaller. Will absolutely fry your hair if you’re not extremely careful (and, even then, it still may). Pairs nicely with my matching travel T3 dryer. There should definitely be a temperature dial on this. ***Insane idea to sell these things without one.*** I would buy another if they resigned to include this feature. Not to TMOH, but I’m pretty good with the hair tools and I’m always nervous when I use this beauty. I like to dump the excess heat to a damp towel if it’s been on for more than a minute before a pass.

Too Too Hot
Love T3 products, I purchased this for a month long trip and it is the perfect travel size. HOWEVER, be warned this will burn your hair especially if your hair is on the finer side. It truly should have a temp control option on this product. My hair stylist was “sad” to see the damage the iron had caused. Unfortunately, the return timeframe had passed by the time we returned back to the US, I’ll try the suggestions of others with unplugging the unit to let it cool prior to use again.

Not good for thick hair
There is only one heat setting, which is why I'm returning but I did like that it was compact and little. For the price I think the newest straightener is worth it and does more which is why I've decided against this item

Too hot. Not adjustable
I’ve used heated styling tools for 45 years and never encountered issues. This one is far too hot for finer hair and is not adjustable. Have damaged ends and the high heat stripped colour. Wish I could return. Do not buy unless you know your hair can handle 410 heat. Note: it functions fine, just too hot

Very handy, dual voltage, one pass straight!
I love my new travel straightener. I have above shoulder length hair and the smaller tool is great even for daily home use. Even though there is only one heat temperature, the heat is good for my hair on one pass and I used it on my 10 years old daughter’s long hair and it didn’t burn either of our hair. The auto change travel voltage is super. It’s a keeper!

Single Pass is right
The T3 SinglePass Compact Flat Iron, is a great all purpose flat iron. It heats up quickly & is hot enough to straighten quickly. The compact size is perfect for me, but be warned- sometimes it's tough to keep hair from slipping off the end while curling. It turns off if you happen to leave it on and comes with a cap to keep it closed in storage/travel. Plus it's colours are super cute. A+ would buy again, except I don't need to because this one works great.

Great for travel.
Great size for travel. It heats up quickly and worked well with an adapter in the EU. Wish it had a way to adjust the temperature.
