Beautiful Look; Luxurious Bathing Experience

I spent hours trying to find just the right style sink and shower faucet for my back-to-the-studs remodel of our bathroom. I knew I wanted a modest shower system, and fell in love with the Rhen in matte black. I contacted Pfister to ask for assistance in specifying the parts I would need to combine this with their wall-mounted rain shower head. Pfister was great. They emailed me a list of all the items I would need for the system of my choosing. I ordered all the parts from Amazon and received everything I needed. I am super-impressed by the quality of the matte black finish and the amount of pressure that comes from the low-flow shower head and hand-held shower device. The technology has really advanced in terms of the quality of low-flow fixtures. Because I purchased the hand-held unit as well as the shower head, I needed the diverter valve so that I can have one or the other or both going at the same time. Tonly negative: the cartridge in the diverter valve was defective and Pfister made me pay for shipping and it cost a week's delay. Aside from this, I couldn't be happier. And the aesthetic is simply beautiful. It is less apparent in the shower faucets, but the Rhen waterfall, single spout faucet - again in matte black - I purchased is just sublime. Again, plenty of water pressure and it brings a "little black dress" kind of elegance to my newly remodeled bathroom. I used a black and taupe color scheme, with a Fleurco Latitude 60" shower enclosure and it is really beautiful. I highly recommend the Rhen line. Used it for my towel rods as well. Wish they had a shower grip bar as well - had to use a different manufacturer. Will upload photos if I can figure out how!

BEAUTIFUL LOOK, SOLID CONTSRUCTION, ONE MINOR POINT

I installed this in a shower as my bride and I have different height preferences for the water outlet. It looks beautiful and works nicely, though I might of liked a little more water flow. I'd give it five stars but for one issue that I think is a minor design flaw. The set screws on the pieces that hold the vertical bar in place face each other, meaning that the bottom one will collect water. Over time, this will accumulate deposits and will eventually corrode, making removal (if ever needed) difficult. A tiny dollop of caulk or some other material to prevent water from finding its way here would be the proverbial ounce of prevention.

Very nice product, works great!

This is a complete set, a bit more expensive than I thought it would be but this is an investment and turns out to be a very high quality product. The finish is great and matches all my other Pfister valves in the shower. The head is not adjustable (my only gripe) but does it's job with the spray provided. I've always wanted one of these in the show. We wash our large Doberman Pinscher in the shower now and this works great both for all of us! Would definitely buy again!

Bad quality finish

The media could not be loaded. The Matte black finish starts chipping off within a few months on the hose. Buy elsewhere because I’ve owned this less than a year and it looks like I’ve owned it for years
