Great quality dinnerware not easily chipped

Around my house dinnerware takes a beating. Unfortunately, chips appear that no one seems to be able to explain. Not these dishes! I’ve even dropped a plate. I was amazed! Beautiful color and design with a glazed finish. My only complaint is that the plates are almost flat. I like a plate that has a deep set middle where the food goes and the outer edges to curve up just a bit. Food is less likely to slide off . Bowls are great with handles on each side. Great for serving hot soup without having to touch actual bowl. Dishwasher and microwave safe! Update: I’ve been using these dishes for going on 4 months now and they are still chip free with zero broken. Great set of dinnerware!

Beautiful and sturdy dishes

This dinnerware set is both beautiful and practical. The color is really nice in person and the pattern adds a nice subtle touch. The plates and bowls are a good size and for someone who tends to spill hot soup on themselves, the handles are very helpful! So far none of them have cracked or chipped and seem very sturdy. They are both dishwasher and microwave safe and they clean very well. They have a good weight to them while at the same time aren’t too heavy. Overall, this is a really nice dinnerware set that is sturdy and stylish.

Packaging is great, attractive set

Boy, they have the packaging down to a science. Very compact and nothing came chipped or broken. The sage green color caught my eye and it is as attractive in person. I also like the bronze edging. the green and bronze gives it a slightly oriental flair to me. Two things that didn't/don't thrill me: I'm not fond of the handles on the bowls. I will say, however, they are great if you have kids, are short with an over the stove microwave or have someone with hand issues. I'm 5'2" and my microwave is quite high so I have to leave bowls with a good 2" to the rim to make sure it doesn't slosh or spill on me when I take out a bowl. The handles help me keep the bowl straight. The same with my dad's arthritic fingers and poor grasping ability. The second thing is that there were no mugs or cups and saucers. I know we've all got a billion mugs because it's the thing to give people. But, I'm old school and expect them to come with a set. If not cups and saucers (really old school), then mugs (within the 21st century). That said, in looking at other sets, this seems to be the current thing.

Simple but gorgeous set of sage green Pfaltzgraff stoneware, sturdy, love the bowls.

First, these are Pfaltzgraff stoneware dishes, and I would expect nothing less than the five-star rating I gave this beautiful stoneware. I love the pretty sage green of this pattern. Each piece has a glossy finish, metallic rim accents, and a beautiful design at the outside of each piece. The cereal/soup bowls are a nice large size, and each one has two little handles on it. I'm still not sure if those are decorative or to help you finish the last bites of your soup or cereal or whatever you're eating. These are ice cream bowls for me and soup bowls for others in my family. The pale sage green is a beautiful, cool, peaceful color and a welcome change from what we usually see. These dishes are very sturdy and are dishwasher and microwave safe. I'll probably hand wash them the first few times I use them and then say why not? I don't expect Pfaltzgraff to lie to me. Excellent product, a gorgeous 12-piece of stoneware in an unusual and very pretty pale sage green color with a metallic rim and a design around the outer inch or so of each piece. The soup/cereal/ice cream bowls are a nice large size and have two cute handles on the top. This stoneware is a classic design otherwise, and you could definitely use this stoneware for a formal occasion or everyday occasions. These pretty pale sage green Pfaltzgraff stoneware dishes are a great new find and a beautiful set of stoneware.

First of all, I love the pale green color of this dinnerware. It is service for 4 people and I'm wanting to downsize anyways ! These dishes feel sturdy and made well and gave me an opportunity to brighten up our table during meals. I would recommend this set to others. Nice

Gorgeous color and very sturdy!

This set is such a beautiful color and dinnerware itself is very sturdy without being too heavy. I have owned Pfaltzgraff dinnerware before and I love the quality of everything they make. You won't regret buying this, as it will last a very long time.
