What you need for a no overflow hole sink!
My sink was installed with the incorrect tailpipe. It had overflow holes. Sink did not. Let's just say things got gross! Only gripe is the metal is very very gray almost like a gunmetal as opposed to nickel color so it doesn't match anything else :(

I could have paid four times as much for the sink drain, but it would not have worked any better. Be sure to use plumbers putty when installing it.

Yes, this is made from plastic. I bought it because it is very difficult to find drains without overflow that are made from brass or other hard metals. In the end, this did the job and I'm happy with this purchase. Pointers for DYI folks. 1. Get plumbers putty that is safe for plastic. Normal plumbers putty is not recommended. Lowes and Homedepot have plastic safe plumbers putty, even it the staff there have no idea what you are talking about. Another name for plastic safe plumbers putty is the putting that won't stain. Then they point you to right place. 2. This drain like any other drain pipe has two areas that are threaded. Make sure you put some Teflon tape on all threaded area to prevent leak. It will leak (like any other sink drain) if you don't put Teflon tape in areas that are threaded. 3. only hand tighten things that need to be tightened. don't use any tool. many novice people use tool and tighten it too much and it brakes and they blame the this unit because it is made from plastic. there is no problem with having plastic for your drain if you know how to install it. overall, I recommend this product. It is actually stronger plastic than what you get from Lowes. Search YouTube and watch several videos on how to install this plastic sink drain if you haven't installed one. Good luck.

Stopper gasket missing
Did not come with a gasket (stopper) as mentioned in ad so I had to buy a can of plumber putty.

Received one bag that was already opened. Gaskets were missing. Returned for refund.
