Didn’t keep my cat in but worked great for cross country driving!
Bought this for moving out of state. I don’t recommend this carrier if you have a cat with a fierce determination to get out of it. I’ve tried it a couple ways, using locks and hooks to keep the zipper tabs together but my cat kept weaseling her way out! I’d leave the room and come back two mins later & she would be out. It’s not necessarily the product since it kept my boy cats (who are okay with staying where they are put) in. However this was really great for traveling thanks to the strap and hooks it comes with! I essentially used my car seatbelt through the top loop and used the strap to hook it onto my girl cat’s harness. This gave her the perfect amount of room to be out of the carrier and sit normally in the car without giving her too much free range that could put in danger while driving. It didn’t hold its shape and she ended up sitting on it, but again, it worked out as a spot for her to sit comfortably. The material is sturdy and didn’t get too dirty so that was nice as well. Good for small to medium cat. I have another large cat and it was a little too small for him. All in all, a good product and a good buy with multiple uses depending on your cat and what you’re doing with it. Hence 4 stars!

Great for even chubby cats, perfect for quick trips to the vet.
We've got two adult cats, one of which is a really big guy at 17 pounds (he is overweight which we're dealing with, but he's also just a very large framed cat). The big guy has stretched a supposedly hard sided carrier to the point that the door pops out. Obviously, that doesn't do us much good with keeping him secure for vet visits. When I saw these soft-sided carriers, I wasn't positive they would work for us, particularly since our other cat has all of her claws and that mesh didn't necessarily look too sturdy in the picture. These were on sale for a deep discount on Easter Sunday so I took a chance and snapped up a couple of them to try with our critters. I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality to be pretty high and as soon as as zipped them up into their carrier shape and set them out with the doors open, both of our cats immediately climbed in them just to hang out. The size is perfect for even a larger adult cat -- not too small that he can't move around or turn around, but not big enough for either cat to be sliding around on the journey. With the long shoulder strap, they were easy to carry to and from the car without jostling the cats around too much which I appreciated since our female cat is pretty skiddish about taking trips anywhere. I will admit to being afraid that the zipper would hold up to 17 pounds of cat hanging off of it, but so far so good. I can't speak to the durability of the mesh when pitted against claws because our little one was too scared of where she was going to really try to escape, but it seems like it would hold up to casual abuse at least. There was a slight new material kind of odor when I first got these out of the package, but I didn't notice it after airing them out for a bit and the cats didn't care so it wasn't an issue. All in all, these are great carriers that I think should work fine for both smaller and larger sized cats and in my tiny house, I love that they fold up almost flat for storage. Worth it at the sale price I paid, worth at the regular price as well.

My Cat Loves It!
My husband and I have been avoiding taking our cat to the vet for a while now due to his intense fear of pet carriers. It’s a huge ordeal whenever he even sees a pet carrier, let alone trying to get him in one. After reading all the positive reviews on Amazon, we decided to try the Soft Sided Dog Carrier by Pet Magasin. The product arrived very quickly with Amazon Prime shipping, and we were pleased with the color and quality of the material. We went with the blue, and it is a very pretty and appealing shade. The fabric the carrier is made with feels very sturdy but breathable, and we are a huge fan of the hard bottom which doesn’t allow the carrier to sag when the pet is in it. Based on some of the negative reviews I was expecting there to be multiple confusing zippers, but the carrier is very simple: one long zipper connects/assembles the entire carrier. There are two zippers available, one at either end, so you have the option to take one the entire way across or have the two meet in the middle. Even though I didn’t have any issues with the zippers opening, I read online other people’s pets forced the zippers apart, so I tied the zippers together with string. This prevented any issues and was a very simply solution. Before putting my cat in it, I left it open on the floor for him to investigate. He was very nervous and unsure at first, but one he put his paw on the nice padded interior he was hooked. Now, we must leave it in the living room 24-7 because he sleeps in/on it daily =P. My cat is rather large, 20 lbs and long, so I was nervous about him fitting into in comfortably. However, while a bit curled up, he doesn’t appear squished or uncomfortable and is more relaxed during travel than I’ve ever seen him. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great pet carrier!

The best cat carrier I've found
I've been looking for something like this for a long time and have tried a couple of other versions that I wasn't satisfied with. This, though, I love. I have four cats of different sizes and they all fit comfortably in this carrier, though of course not at the same time! It's sturdy, safe, and comfortable for them and for me to carry. They seem to feel secure in there as there's plenty of mesh "windows" for air but they can also remain hidden, which is good for times they're feeling nervous, like vet trips, travel, etc. I also like the elasticated pocket because it's useful for sticking vet's bills and prescriptions so I can keep my hands free. All in all, a top notch carrier!

Fabulous product
I was a bit worried about flying with my cat who hated the car but needed to get her to France as I was moving there. This case met the requirements of Air France and was very reasonably priced. I thought it might be a snug fit but in practice she had room to move around and change position. I left it out for a couple of weeks beforehand snd she started sleeping in it. On the day I was able to quietly zip her in. 12 hours door to door and she coped very well. Case had useful pockets and the double zip opening allowed me to squeeze a hand through to reassure her. Credit also to Felaway travel spray, some Valerian spot on treatment and super staff at Manchester Airport and Air France. But the carrier was brilliant my only issue was despite it being very light itself all together it was 6kg including cat who weighs 5 kg so it was really heavy traipsing around airports and transfers to terminals in Paris CDG. If someone could invent a super light trolley to wheel it on that would be great. Though it did have Velcro strip on bottom to stop it sliding about on the plane it might be better to add a strap that would slide on wheelie case handle

MY CAT WON’T GO IN HERE
I’m not sure what breed of tiny compliant cats everyone else is putting in this carrier to give it 5* reviews but I have a regular to large sized cat who is mostly fluff and he will not even try to fit in here. I’m sure he wouldn’t be able to turn around. I thought it seemed small from the measurements and it is but was swayed by the positive reviews and low price. Cat hates it and unfortunately I can’t send it back due to putting food in it in a vain attempt to lure him inside, so now when I move house I will have to stuff him in forcibly and one of us is going to come off badly. Recommend not buying this if you have a larger/grumpier cat. On the plus side it looks nice and folds up small.

Very easy to get my cat in and out of even the vet loves it, just unzip it, brilliant pet carrier that is also light to carry.

Flimsy ........small cat ripped mesh away and escaped.
This is a late review as this item was purchased for a kitten that died before she came to live with me. I adopted a Burmese kitten some time later. I was initially pleased with the carrier. ......looks funky and is fairly lightweight but please see the pics to see what my Burmese did to the carrier on the second use going to the vet. She was in the carrier on the rear seat of my car and suddenly jumped over the back of my seat onto my shoulder whilst I was driving .......could have been a serious accident had the car not been stationary at traffic lights. Jasmine who is a small cat of only 3 Kg had ripped the mesh panel away along the bottom and escaped from the carrier......thankfully she was in an enclosed space. If a small cat can rip this apart then it is totally unsuitable for purpose and feel this carrier was a complete waste of money a and will now go into the bin. Very disappointed and would not recommend........Not a secure carrier.
