These are so much faster than the typical L shaped Allen keys for turning fasteners. Longer as well. Only reason they didn’t score a 5 star was that they could be a little beefier. At this price can’t whine too much

what I needed

This Metric T-Handle Hex Key Set is a good set to have handy. I use both a CNC laser and a CNC router. Seems like I'm always grabbing these to setup or just for general maintenance on my machines. They work great and the long shaft is a big plus.

the numbers on the base don't line up so I'm constantly trying to figure out which one is which. Otherwise they're pretty basic tools at a decent price.

Garbage

Terrible quality, even considering the price. As other reviewers have stated, the steel is too soft, which means the keys wear out quickly. I have almost rounded off the 1/8" key after less than one week. The size labels don't line up with the holes, which makes picking out the middle sizes a guessing game (see photo #1). The holder is designed cheaply out of one piece of bent steel, which unfortunately means you have to replace the keys exactly vertically, otherwise they won't fit into the bottom hole and just flop over, wasting your time (see photos #2 and #4). Also, as another reviewer has stated, the keys aren't straight, meaning you don't just spin the handle, you also have to move your hand in a circle to follow the orbit of the handle (see photo #3). In conclusion: don't buy these, they are too expensive for what you get. You probably either want them for work or to use them frequently, and they won't stand up to use and would waste your time. If you don't have much use for these specifically, just stick with Allen keys - they work, albeit a little slower.

Incorrect sizing - Poor build quality

I think I found a single wrench in this set that was the correct, listed size. I compared it with a Goodyear bit set to make sure I wasn't going crazy and that all the bolts weren't stripped, and it's definitely this wrench set that's the issue. The good news is that the metal is so soft you end up stripping the cheap tool instead of hard-to-find bolts.

Cheap, not inexpensive. Get the Allen brand instead.

Cheap cheap cheap. I’m all for saving money where I can on tools, but hex keys aren’t the tool to do that with. I decided to buy these to check out as they were half the price of the Allen brand. Fitment is terrible, and hardness is non-existent. Specifically the 5mm didn’t fit in any fastener sockets, and I tried many different fasteners. The 6mm end twisted after applying minimal torque. They also don’t come with what looks to be a hard-coated end in the pictures. Spend the extra $20 and get the Allen brand (they come with ball-end also).

Seem to be holding up

These handy T-handle hex wrenches are holding up under weekend warrior use. Handles are comfortable and the tools can take quite a bit of torque. There is some torsion noticeable on the smaller sizes, but that's expected with tool steel. The only problem I have with this set is that it's a bit tricky to get the wrenches back in the holder. Have to have a steady hand.

Disappointing Quality

I had wanted to like these but these are nothing more than cheap junk. The first thing I noticed was the tips were not hardened (black) as shown in the photos, which for the price I overlooked, but within a couple of uses, the rubber on the handles started to peel. The other very annoying part is that the size of each is not clearly marked or printed on each, so your left guessing as to its size.
