Sturdy and eco friendly
Used these forks in a cooking class I taught on Earth Day. Got lots of comments on how sturdy and environmentally friendly they are! Great product

Better than plastic, but not a real fork
These work as well as plastic and are so much more environmentally responsible so I’m happy with my choice. Just don’t think you’re going to eat steak with them.

Great quality
These are fantastic. Bought for a birthday party and I had a ton left over and continue to use them. Really like these forks.

Tastes like wood - but still pretty good
update 21apr2016: updated from 3 to 4 stars because I was able to use the same spork for a month eating my morning grapefruit. After a month I intentionally broke it to see how tough it is and could only break the handle portion, which was still more sturdy than I anticipated. The rounded/wider portion with prongs was too hard and I didn't want to hurt my fingers so I was unable to break that part. They still taste like wood and may have an occasional splinter so check each item before handing it to your kids. original review: These eco friendly little kid sporks work well for ice cream and cake parties, coffee stirring, meatloaf, rice, pasta and other soft foods, but not so much for pork chops, thick steaks, fresh veggies or other harder foods. If you remember the ice cream cup in grade school that came with a flat wooden spoon, this wood is a little thinner than that. AND IT TASTES LIKE WOOD (surprise?) with every bite. The great thing about these, and any other wood utensil, is that they have so many other uses: -they are paintable for art projects, -wood glue holds them to each other very well, -they don't melt when mixing together a 2 part epoxy -they burn nicely without emitting toxins -super lightweight and don't set off metal detectors at the airport I'm keeping these for other uses than eating meals with them, but my next purchase in this department will probably be some type of bamboo,

Taste It
I wanted to go more green but you can taste the wood and the office does not like that.

Wonderful for Camping
I bought these to take camping because washing dishes is no fun. They're biodegradable so I don't feel guilty like I am destroying the planet like I would with plastic cutlery. I would like to second the review who suggests that they shouldn't be packaged in so much plastic. The reason we're getting wooden forks is for the environment, less plastic please. The fork tines are very short which can be a bit annoying for chewier things that are hard to get through like tough meat but for anything else they work perfectly well. The forks are also fairly small which would be annoying for some people, but I don't mind. If you do, they would still be great for your kids' birthday parties instead. Unfortunately they are wrapped in plastic. A great improvement would be if they were packaged in a cardboard box instead. The main reason I purchase wooden utensils is to reduce my plastic consumption. Despite the plastic packaging, they are still more environmentally than plastic utensils, but there there are better ways to package them. On the plus side, the shorter tines mean a larger base so can almost use them like a spork for foods like oatmeal but not soup. The rounded end can be used like a butter knife to spread things and I was also able to cut through soft cheese with it. The forks have the texture of a popsicle stick. You can break them but generally not unless you are trying to, they're not flimsy at all. For the price they are a good value wooden utensil. No I have never, ever, ever gotten a splinter in my tongue from these forks.

Eco friendly disposable utensils - hard time find in stores!
These forks are the perfect alternative to single use plastics for large gatherings. We were looking everywhere before Super Bowl for eco friendly disposable dinnerware and this product came quickly and stood up to hot foods and small kids! Will definitely order again for future parties
