Well built, nice fit and finish - great addition to my kitchen!
Like other reviews said, sure it's packed in a very thin box and arrived with a couple dings, and dances on the stovetop like a drunken middle-aged white guy. But 1) it holds water and heats up, so who cares about a couple dings, and 2) it's not intended for stovetop use. But this thing is well made and does exactly what it should. The basket fits well with ample room for water circulation around it, and the finish will hold up. I have used it on a flat top stove and it does wobble, but settles down after a few heat cycles. But again, it's intended to be used on a gas ring and it does that just fine. I've used it to brine a very large turkey, steam crab legs, and low country boils - all have turned out exactly as planned. A pot is a tool - it doesn't need to be flashy, it doesn't need to be complicated. It just needs to work and be designed for the task. In that regard, I'm happy to have this tool at my disposal and will get many, many more awesome meals out of it.

Great steamer but shrimp boils not so much.
I gave the product 3 stars for value because I won't use it for what I purchased for. I wanted a pot to do low country boils and the basket stops about 3 inches from the bottom. It takes almost 2 gallons of liquid to reach the bottom of the basket requiring almost 3 times as much seasoning and water to cook the boil. It will make a great crab steamer so I'll keep it.

Lobster Boil
Aluminum definitely distributes heat faster, but this felt sturdy for our lobster boil. Once the water began to boil, the heat distribution felt even the entire way. Fit 5 1.5lb lobsters, 3lbs of shrimp, 3lbs of clams, 2 lbs of corn and about 2lbs of of small red potatoes. We filled the pot about 1/2 way with liquid and that may have been too much. We had to empty some of the broth in order to remove the basket. Overall great and happy with the purchase.

A Multipurpose Pot
This large pot is well made and worth the money it costs. It can be used indoors as a steamer or outdoors for deep fat frying.

Great pot but very poorly packed
I bought this as an amazon return and reading the reviews I assumed it was returned for minor dents and I wasn’t wrong. I easily popped one of them out of the side with my hands and a rubber mallet got the one on the bottom popped out almost as good as new. The pot is thin but high quality stainless and after a summer of use it looks almost like new. The handle makes it easy to carry and the built in strainer makes crab or shrimp boils super easy to drain and makes steaming corn or crab a snap. The packaging is absolutely terrible. They basically set the pot in a thin cardboard box and slap a label on it. No double boxing, no foam, no bubble wrap, nothing. Amazon needs to recognize this and pack these better.

Great pot but tall and heavy (so cook with a friend!)
The 36 quart pot is very large and well made. I boiled 3 2lb lobsters and there was plenty of room. (I didn't want to overcrowd the pot.) Two concerns: 1) When the pot has enough water to cover even just three large lobsters, it's extremely heavy. Not necessarily a problem when the pot is cold, but you should plan on having someone help when the pot is full of boiling water. 2) The pot is taller than most and when on the stovetop, it can be a challenge to lift by yourself. Especially if you're short (like me). Otherwise, great pot. Happy so far.

La olla para freír pavo cumple con lo descrito por el vendedor, aunque esta olla yo la voy a utilizar para hacer cerveza casera, es de buen tamaño y de acero inoxidable, llego en tiempo y forma, sin duda la volvería a comprar
