Great cups - With minor exceptions

Clear hard plastic (Polystyrene) cups are hard to find unless you are willing to order a case of 2500 from Sysco. I was happy to find these on Amazon and felt they were a good value. They look great and can either be disposed of or washed and reused if you care to go to the trouble. I did note, and partlially agree with a couple of the issues mentioned by other reviewers: (1) The cups are brittle and break easily. True. And this is a characteristic of polystyrene. I can see where this might be a problem with small children but adults should experience no problems whatsoever under normal party usage. (2) I received my cups cracked / stuck together / scuffed, etc. I had no problems with that but did notice little chips on some of the rims which seemed to be the result of defective packaging. (By the manufacturer, not Amazon). The package of 100 consists of 4 stacks of 25 in one plastic bag with no inner packaging, allowing the rims to rub together and chip during handling and shipping. This could easily be rectified by packing each stack in a separate sleeve before bagging them. Take a lesson from a box of Ritz crackers. All this being said, I still think this is a good buy. There weren't that many chipped cups and even if I threw away the ones that bothered me I think I would still be getting a good value.

Great for the price

Great for the price, though easily cracked. We got these as "backup" cups for a party, just in case we run out, so I'm fine with a few cracks here and there. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase because it was so cost effective, but I wouldn't buy these if you're relying on using ONLY this set.

Great disposable water glass

I wish there were 100 glasses in the bag instead of 25, but having searched the Amazon website thoroughly, I can't find this glass in any higher quantity. That said, it is the perfect sized water glass to keep around all day and drink from whenever. It has saved me a lot of glasses in the dishwasher. The size, grip and sturdiness is just right, and when it gets too full of fingerprints or whatever, I throw it in the trash and start with a new one. Update: amazon now offers 100 glasses as subscribe and save and other quantities as well. I just ordered 100. I've never found and cracked glasses in my orders.

Get the job done

15 of them arrived broke, but other than that they are what I expected. Very thin and a little brittle, but the quality reflects the price, and the price I am happy with.

Not bad.

I bought these for my informal rehearsal dinner. I was expecting a little heavier plastic, but they will do! I'm a little afraid of them breaking in commute - just going to make sure that box is on top of the stack. It's still great for the price. Perfect for grilling etc.

I always have some on hand

The size is right for less waste. The hard plastic makes it more like the real thing. I wish the company could protect the end cups in the package because usually one or two is cracked.

Safe and useful for Parkinson's patient

My father-in-law is immobilized with end-stage Parkinson's disease. He likes a glass of water handy by his couch, since he can't manage the lid on bottled water. These particular cups are the right size for him to hold, the hard plastic means he doesn't inadvertently crumple them like he does with the soft plastic variety, and they're unbreakable if he drops one.

The Product came to us damaged .

The 1 bag of cups came in good shape. The other came in an open bag and the box was damaged and open. The cups were scratched and chipped. 40 of the cups are unusable because they were broken. We are using the cups for a party this weekend so we had to buy some in town because there is not time to order in some more. As for the other orders we received every thing has come to us in excellent condition. Gary

Highly recommended!

Bought for my wedding and they were the best! Classier then red solo cups and were super durable, and great for mixed alcoholic drinks. Will buy again if I have another event.
