Loved this it’s comfortable and it was very easy to mold make sure the red part dosent touch the pan bc it will melt I was able to mold mine back to normal but just a heads up

Better fit, better protection
We tried several boil and bite mouthguards for my son, and this was our last attempt before resorting to an expensive custom order. Thankfully, this one works great, and I think the secret to a better fit is that the moldable material on this piece extends higher over the ridge of the gums than the other brands we tried. That makes for a more secure fit. In fact, the directions have you press onto the top of your gums for the majority of the fitting process. We followed the boiling tip by another review that said to simmer with 200 degree boil, instead of a hotter, full rolling boil that some people complained melted their product, and that was plenty hot for a good fit. He can speak clearly, breath, and isn’t gagged like he was with other brands. The fangs only show when he smiles. All in all we’re very happy with this guard.

Simmer don’t boil
All I wanted in a mouth guard was something that stayed in place if I opened my mouth and something thick enough to be effective. Venoms mouth guard checked both of those boxes for me. Took off a star because I don’t like how there’s not a defined temperature threshold for boiling in the instructions.... ‘boiling’ can be subjective. Which is obviously an issue when people are having them literally melt. Keeping that in mind, since boiling is defined at 220 F I kept my water at 200 F throughout the directed boiling time. I was able to get a good imprint that held the guard in place no problem.

Good protection and comfort
I love this mouth guard. it gives me a good level of protection but it's also very comfortable. It's hard to find a good mouthguard that gives both comfort and a lot of protection.

Great mouthguard
This mouthguard is perfect. It was extremely easy to fit. Set it in some boiled water for a few seconds, put it in place and bite. Would recommend!

Easy to fit, and seems sturdy enough
This takes about 10 mins to boil, set in your mouth, then rest in ice water. Once done (which is a fairly straightforward exercise), you have a tough mouthguard that is a specific fit for your mouth. Excellent! I have used this in Krav Maga (fortunately not taken a hit yet but this will come I am sure), but it is good having the confidence that my mouth area is protected. This is a Venom product, which means I have confidence in it. I would advise when setting the fit in your mouth, that you bite down as hard as you can and suck all the air out as it sets, so that you get a snug fit that won't fall out. It does state this in the instructions, just thought I would emphasise it here...
