Imaginative play

My kids love these figures! We found them for the first time while visiting Medieval Times and they have started a collection. My kids are 6 and 11 so finding toys they both find interesting (and not electronic) can be challenging. For their birthdays they each got new figures as well as a Melissa & Doug castle - which are great. We went with the Melissa & Doug brand due to having better reviews than the Papo castle and being more affordable. Although we didn’t know when buying, they can either use them singly or assemble them together to make one big castle (see pic.) The knights all look great standing or on their horses - they don’t bend but they are designed very well to look natural in both positions. Some knights don’t have horses but most have the option to switch shields/weapons from hand to hand, and some come with a third weapon on their back which is interchangeable as well. The mutants are a fun addition. The detail is fantastic and they are durable - I don’t see any of the figures or weapons breaking easily. Some horses can be set up to be running or standing on their hind legs - again not pose-able but designed well enough to look very good in both positions. The only item that fell short was the crossbow/ballista. The rubber band isn’t tight enough to make it shoot well and it’s very difficult to get it to work. My kids use them as props but it would’ve been nice if they were more functional. Overall, we are very happy with these toys. Great figures, great castle!

The Blue Knight looks great!

I got a cute statue from a niece at Christmas and the blue knight is just the same size. He comes with a sword that is in a separate plastic bag. You then place it in his hand through a hole made for it.

Amazing details, detachable weapons

We love the detail of the Papo brand figures which we have been collecting to be used with our wooden castle. The removable sword, axe and shield are neat features. They are however, made of lighter weight plastic which can bend and break more easily. They are small enough that they can easily get lost. We still prefer a popular, higher quality brand but this is a lower cost alternative.

Come per tutti i prodotti Papo merita sempre evidenziare la qualità del materiale praticamente indistruttibile. attenzione però, nel caso del figurino in ispecie, nel non piegare la punta della freccia che, per l'ovvia ragione della sua conformazione, potrebbe spezzarsi. Dunque, meglio non riporre il figurino alla rinfusa nella "cesta dei giocattoli". L'arciere regge bene in piedi da solo. Ottimo per attacchi a distanza contro i terrificanti guerrieri Mutanti... letali nel corpo a corpo ;)

qualità plastica e posa

robusto e solido. uno dei pochi figurini della linea cavalieri che, penso, potrebbe essere affidato al 100% ad un bimbo di 2 anni in quanto equipaggiato con un'arma non amovibile nè tanto delicata da piegarsi se non maneggiata con cura. la visiera si può sollevare rivelando il volto del balestriere con un occhio chiuso per prendere la mira.

Schöne Ritterfigur

Die Figur ist echt gut gelungen und passt auch zu den Schleich Figuren. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und auch für Kinder zum spielen geeignet. man sollte aber noch das Pferd dazu nehmen (Pferd des Paladin) da die Figuren schnell umfallen. Meine beiden Mädels 5 Jahre haben sich riesig gefreut und spielen gern mit den Figuren (Sie haben etliche Ritter, Mutanten und Drachen von Papo). Passt auch alles gut zur Ritterburg von Schleich. Das Material ist zwar nicht ganz mit dem von Schleich zu vergleichen aber dafür kosten die Sachen auch ein Drittel weniger und dafür ist es eine tolle Qualität und wirklich wie echt.
