The only pants and shorts I buy. EDC perfection
I work on film sets as a DoP, but since many of the productions I shoot are low-budget indie, that means I'm also a grip, gaffer, rigger, and everything else. These pants (and the shorts version) are literally the ONLY pants and shorts I buy and wear anymore except for swimming trunks. I have 5 pairs of each, in black, dark brown, dark grey, coyote brown and dark green with the brown and green ones left over (and very beat up) from my firearms instructor days. I carry my liner-lock assisted-open Kershaw clipped into the right hand pocket. My 18650 side-switch O-light flashlight clips into the left hand pocket, along with my giant Samsung Note 10 Plus phone in beefy case. Back pocket is my wallet. Right cargo pocket has my bluetooth earbuds, a tightly coiled 10ft hank of 400lb paracord (thinner than the regular paracord), a short USB charging cable, a small USB powerbank and a folded N95 mask. All that stuff is easily swapped out for a DeSantis pocket holster and Glock 43X if the situation requires. Left cargo pocket is prescription sunglasses in a smooth, rounded hard case with spring closure, and a Maxpedition organizer that holds together a booboo kit, passport, Bic lighter, Sharpie, Pilot G2 ballpoint, Burt's chapstick, beefy Leatherman Charge, small hank of that same paracord, and a couple of those plastic toothfloss/pick thingies for steak and overcooked chicken in the teeth.

unexpected Quality
I bought these pants some time ago for a replacement on my normal issued work pants that had some more pockets and durability. they fit well and wore comfortably while at work and when on the Bike going to and from. Last week I was in a motorcycle accident while wearing these pants. Every other part of my body has riding gear to cover except pants. However after the accident when I was being check for injury after having dragged along the road for some time I was checked for road rash and had none. When i had my gear returned I took a look at all gear and these pants had held up only slightly less well than the gear designed for this type of event. After my broken leg is healed and my bike repaired I will be replacing my gear and as part of that I will be making additional purchases of these pants. There are no guarantees that every pair would hold up this well in every accident, but I am truly impressed by the durability and quality displayed so far. Ride Safe.

Different material
I have ordered these pants twice (from the same link) but the fabric was different between the two. Not sure which was better or worse but found that odd.

The redesign is flawed
I loved the last version of these pants except for the velcro. They lasted me like 3 years of literally daily wear. The updated version however has several changes that cause it to lose 2 stars for me. First the primary side pockets are smaller and shaped differently. My Samsung Galaxy s10+ is barely concealed at the outside edge of the pocket and it's shaped so that the phone corner hits the rounded bottom seam when you put your phone in your pocket. This will likely cause it ti punch a hole in that seam quicker than the old version. The leg pockets have been completely destroyed for functionality. The old design was all internal where the outside flap covered everything and the 2 internal sub pockets were big enough to put pens in and use the pen clip to hold it secure. The new inner sub pockets are shorter so you can't do that. The trade off is that now there's a top pocket behind the main pocket so you can put your pens and stuff in there and they clip on to the outside of the pocket. So what's the problem with that? YOU CANT OPEN THE MAIN FLAP WHEN THERES SOMETHING CLIPPED TO YHE OUTSIDE! So if you don't mind having to take your pens out of your pocket every time you need to open a pocket or never need to go into one of the side pockets g5or sub pockets for anything you may be ok with it. Me I carry a pocket knife, a dual aaa battery length pen light, a sharpie, and a pen. So I either have to lose access to both large pockets and have all that weight and those items logically distributed so you don't go to grab a pen and pull a knife on someone, or cram it all in one pocket and hope for the best. There is a third option that's less helpful and that's putting all of that stuff between the 2 pieces of velcro on the outside of the pocket so they are under the flap. It functions but the weight will cause the pocket to become misshapen and then the velcro will not hold it closed right. On the plus side though my phone fits in that top pen pouch but just barely width and height wise so I don't trust it to not fall out so I won't be using that pouch for that either. Lastly people are probably thinking why not use the knife pocket that's at about 5 o'clock on the pants themselves? That's what it's there for. I tried that... once. My car's seat paid the price for it. My knife clip ripped a large hole in my seat the first and only time I used that pocket. But I do like the small bit of elasticity they have in the waist. I like the ripstop nylons durability. And overall the fit is excellent. Legs are a tad long but thats not a problem when I'm wearing any shoes with them. I just wish they left the pockets alone and added the outer pouch on top of the leg pocket. But with the redesign the way it is they made the pockets halfway useless.

well made pants but run significantly long.
Had to return the 34/32 size for 34/30s even though I always wear 34/32 so they do run long. Otherwise very pleased with them, very comfortable pants with lots o' pockets for guys that need them. Also stain resistant which is a big plus.

Good budget duty pant
Pros: -Elastic waist -Comfortable -Durable material -Great design on main cargo pockets and rear pockets -Button clasp and zipper fly -Knife/flashlight pockets bilaterally Cons: -Color (it is not the same dark uniform navy as most EMS/Police/Fire) -Not great for hot weather wear (better than some other pants but not as great as others) -Mini "cellphone" pocket cant hold a cell phone -baggy fit Overall a good budget pant. That could use some minor improvements.

Seem reasonable but condition not great - glue marks on trousers
I am based in UK and these were bought on UK site, but sold by Amazon US, so shipped from the States. They arrived today, and although the design is how I expected and the fit is reasonable, I initially knocked off 2 stars as a warning to others, on the condition. They did not have any tags at all, so makes me wonder if a return, and there are a couple of bits of glue on the 'backside" of the trousers. The glue seems to come off with lots of effort, so I won' t bother returning, but not good enough, as they were supposed to be brand new, and at the price, I would expect much better, as well as given they were bought from Amazon and not a Third Party. However, after washing I have downgraded to 2 stars as colour looks slightly faded after one wash, where I tried to remove glue from the supposedly new trousers, and a small bit of glue is still visible. Wish I had just returned them straight away for a refund, but too late now...

Great pants for a low price
These pants are of high quality, and they look good. They are durable and practical, with lots of well-placed pockets. I would buy again, except that these pants will probably last forever.
