Nice Quality Slim Fit Pants!!!

I've not had much success in the past with pants I've ordered from Amazon. With that being said, I took a chance and ordered these Amazon Essentials Men's Slim Fit Stretch Golf Pants. I'm 5'7" 155lbs and always wear either a 29" or 30" waist, depending on the manufacturer. Amazon recommended size 29" x 32". But, I ordered 30" x 32". I received the pants the very next day and was anxious to try them on. The length was spot on, but the waist was far too small. I returned them and ordered size 32" x 32" and the fit was perfect. The pants are truly slim fit (7 1/4" leg opening) and really nice quality, but there's barely any stretch to these. But, that was not a deal breaker for me. The pants are creased and even after going thru a wash in the washing machine and tumble dried, the pants remain creased and wrinkle free. I really like these pants and not only do I wear them to play golf, I also wear them to the office. I have these in several colors now and they've became my go to pants for the office. They are heavier than my Adidas 365 golf pants, so they may be a bit too warm to play golf in during warm weather.

Great golf pants!

The price of these Amazon essentials golf pants was so much less than similar golf pants that I have had purchased at a department store! And the fit and the comfort and the durability of them as well as the material used was equal to those more expensive golf pants! Love to wear these are only for golf, but just knocking around the house and walking my dog! And then when I go to the store somewhere wearing them in a polo shirt or sweater, they look like I’m dressed up, but I’m actually in very casual wear!

Not sized well.

He usually has trouble getting a 34 length but that part was good. They were long enough. The rear end was extremely misfit. They had no give at all. I wouldn’t recommend these. We’ll go back to Izod.

Was reluctant at first

Normally buy Adidas or IZOD golf pants but decided to try Amazon brand . First picked the color then went to the reviews for ONLY my size ( L&W) to see what other people had to say . Someone complaining that wears a 42x29 saying they’re to tight in the crotch isn’t going sway me . Anyway I’m surprised they fit so well, everything about the length, slim fit and waist size . I will order different colors , can’t beat the price. IF I had a complaint the color STONE was a shade on the TAN side.

Horizontal Crease

Fit and fabric very good, but a horizontal crease in the thigh area, apparently from the way the pants were packaged and stacked in the warehouse, have not yet gone away after being washed twice and hung by the ankle opening.

Good value

I had little expectation of the pants considering the price and some of the review but I was pleasantly surprised. Fit is as expected with some stretch. Fabric was heavier then I thought it would, more autumn winter. Beware they are a slim fit and will suit more slim/athletic body shape so be realistic when buying them, if you're carry a few pounds lads, these are not for you.

Good for golf but What's with the weird pocket

These trousers fit well. Needed some golf trousers at short notice without spending a fortune on the brand names. So went with speedy delivery, got them really fast. They are pretty good for golf, they are comfortable and look the part. No restrictions in the swing and fit as expected. They do have the weirdest pocket, a small pocket in the right normal pocket, it catches your hand when you put your hand in your pocket, there is no apparent reason for it and it is horizontal so can't keep anything in it anyway, just weird. I will probably sew it up so it doesn't catch my hand. Overall happy with purchase, bought another pair in the prime sale for£10 less.

No problem with these pants. They are emblazoned with the Amazon brand. However, it is a worry how Amazon are making inroads into the manufacturing sectors. This is because they can easily identify which are the most successful manufacturers then mop them up. Hence the buy up of Ring etc.. Amazon should stick to the basics upon which it has built a hugely profitable business. The Chinese have recognised this with Alibaba and taken steps to limit the process. We do not want that here but fair competition is in all our best interest.

Superb value for money

I'm 6'6" and 35" leg so finding any trousers let alone golf trousers is nigh on impossible. Finding these and available on try before you buy was a winner. They're a little bit shiny for my liking, but that's nitpicking for the price. They are long enough in the leg and look nice. I wouldn't hesitate ordering more if I needed to.

Could be better

initially I thought these trousers would be really good however, after the first wash they lose their shape and become scrunched up. Even after ironing, the crease wont stay in the leg, effectively making them flat front! These issues might be because the material is a little on the heavy side, who knows? If they're only intended for occasional use, they'll probably be fine but, for greater longevity, go for a branded golf trouser.
