When I went to visit my child at overnight camp last summer I saw that the kids were down to 5 balls and kept hearing them say, "Don't lose the balls!" After I returned home I bough a box of these Viper Table Tennis Balls and shipped them to camp as a thank you for making my son's summer a blast. You would have thought a sent gold bricks. My son came home at the end of the summer and said, "I knew you sent these up to camp," and "they are fast and so much better than the balls were had been using that my game got better!" I laughed but he was happy and the camp was appreciative.

Perfect for us amateurs!
We are by no means professional table tennis players, but we recently got a family table to enjoy ourselves and with friends. We needed more balls because we lose them like crazy. Plus, our little one enjoys picking them up and playing with them so having extras is a bonus. I am certain these aren't the best table tennis balls available, but for those of us who are not competitive (besides amongst ourselves of course), these are perfect. Cheap, functional, and plentiful. I have no complaints and am very happy with this purchase. They have lasted up quite a while and are still going strong.

You get what you pay for..
I tend to to buy 1-star balls because anything else is just overpriced in my opinion. These I've enjoyed less than most 1-star balls... They are not labeled 1-star anywhere, so they may not be up to that standard. They're smooth and they're perfectly fine for "light play" but they do seem lighter than any other balls I own. So we're constantly checking to see if there's a crack in them by the way to bounce, hit, and sound. Because of their light weight, they also tend to "knuckle" randomly.

Try something else
I was excited to get these. My coworkers had all lost/destroyed/eaten the balls the company provided, so I was finally able to play again. First ball we pull out sounds a little funny when I bounced it, but I continued anyway. I served it and my opponent completely missed! Exciting result except for the fact that he missed it because it bounced about half as high as a regular ball would and it wobbled so much in the air that his eyes couldn't actually follow it. So we pulled out the second, the third, fourth, and on and on. Exactly 0 were any good. One even had soft spots! On the plus side, returning items through Amazon is a breeze so if you want to gamble you don't have much to lose. I would not recommend anyone buy these if you actually want to play table tennis. If you have another use for them, go for it!

Pretty decent balls for the money

All balls had imperfections
I recently opened the ping pong balls, from a purchase I made in July. Unfortunately, I was unable to use any of them. They all did not bounce correctly. They played like there was a crack in every ball. Yet, there were no visible cracks. Not sure if I received a defective batch but they were unusable and I had to purchase a different brand. I would not purchase these in the future.

Very poor quality. Basically unplayable.
These balls are absolute garbage, suitable for beer pong only. The balls have no bounce and each ball has one spot that is heavier than the rest making the balls unbakanced and spinning weirdly. Maybe if young kids were playing they wouldn’t notice or care but anyone who appreciates consistency or quality, this product is not for you. Don’t waste your money.
