Great for outdoor practice in a park

I picked up a few dozen of these to try out before I buy more for my middle school golf team. I took them to a local park this afternoon and hit some 6 & 9 irons with them. They are light foam with a harder outside shell. I didn't measure them out, but I would estimate I was hitting full 9 iron shots about 40-45 yards, with 6 iron shots flying another 15-20 yards. These will work great for days that we have to use our football/soccer field as our driving range. We had a slight breeze (10 mph) and they moved a little bit with the wind, but nothing drastic. They are definitely better than the regular foam balls, but you need to figure out what space you have to work with. I wouldn't hit these indoors against a wall, but would into a net. They are being pretty accurate when they say a driver would reach 110 yards, so they're probably more than you want for full swings in your backyard. However, I'm over the plastic whiffle ball looking ones breaking when they get stepped on in class. I will be buying more, and hard to beat $16 for 2 dozen. They also include a draw string carry bag in each box!

Excellent Limited Distance Practice Ball

These balls have a harder outer shell that makes them pop off the club. I have been practicing with the same two balls. I have hit 3 woods off the tee as well as irons and they have held up well over the couple of months of use. I would buy these again.

Went All-In on GoSports Products!

I purchased these practice balls in addition to several other GoSports products (hitting mats, golf net, flat balls, putting mirror, and swing temp stick). I've been very impressed with GoSports' products. When searching for the artificial hitting mats and golf net, practice balls were popping up so I started looking into those as well to treat myself to. Also, when looking to purchase a golf net, based off of reviews, I was a little worried about ruining the net by hitting regular golf balls into the net, so I figured some softer foam practice balls would be smart to use. I have long had a half dozen or so of the squishy yellow foam practice balls that I don't use that often, but work great for taking full swings with most clubs and keeping the ball in the yard. After reading about these hard foam balls, I was very curious to try them out. In comparing these practice balls to other similar hard foam balls, I decided the GoSports balls were the better value since there are 24 balls for the same price as 10 of the "almost" golf balls. I've never hit the other brand of balls, but I do like these GoSports ones very much! After receiving the balls I immediately tried them out. I hit a soft iron shot just to see how far they went and realized they do go much further than the squishy foam ones. I would say they probably go 1/3 to 1/2 the distance of a real ball. So I've only really taken full swings hitting these balls into the golf net that I also purchased. But what I love about them is that they do give you that "whack" sound/feel of hitting a real golf ball. Not quite the same, but pretty close, and much more so than the squishy foam practice balls. These balls will work great for me, and as my daughter gets better at hitting balls, I will have to move her to hitting these practice ones instead of real balls, so that she doesn't hit into the neighbor's yard. The balls are hard enough they I can't squeeze them between my fingers and compress them any, so yes, they are hard, and will likely still do some damage if hitting them indoors, or if you hit the house or vehicles with them. The balls do also get marked up when hitting into the golf net, but that is not a concern for me. Overall, I am happy with them and they are a great value in my opinion.

A great practice ball that responds like an actual ball.

Great feel and response to swing. This ball will hook/slice/draw/fade according to the swing. Provides accurate info on how I’m swinging. Add to that the ball is very durable. 5 STARS!

Great golf balls!

I got these for my kids to work on their game in the yard. They work exactly as a regular ball but go a shorter distance.

So close

I really like these over other brands that are more spongy. But they do have a slight issue. Grass stains. If you hit off a mat, this will not be a problem, but we are using these at a soccer field instead of going to the range, and thus, when there is grass between the ball and club, it will leave grass stains on the ball. Which makes the ball harder to find. And no, washing them does not get the grass stains off. Maybe some better detergent would clean them. But when the soccer fields need cutting these balls can hide from you and you may not find them if the shot was too errant or you hit too many and lost count of where each one landed. You may not find them all. Otherwise, love them.

Donne l'impression d'une vraie balle pour jouer avec mon simulateur de golf dans le garage.

J'avais des balles en mousse qui se brisaient après quelques parties, et la sensation au bout du bâton de golf ne donnait pas la même chose qu'une vraie balle. Celle-ci s'en rapproche pas mal plus, même si ce n'est pas la même, et elle est plus sécuritaire, pour ne rien briser.

Corrected my distances when using my optipro

I had read some reviews that said these were almost as dangerous as a regular golfball. Although slightly harder than most foam balls( almost like a plastic but not quite) they certainly don't present any danger. I really really like them . On my optishot all my clubs were off previously coming up 10 to 20 yards short. Instantly solved . Feel they give an accurate feel ( as good as a foamball can). I use a cheap net in front of a window in my garage door. Ball never gets to window and even if it did i wouldnt be worried about breaking it . Like all foamballs it has some bounce and maybe just a bit more than normal but nothing scarey. I almost didnt buy these because some of the reviews about them being dangerous almost scared me off . Glad i took the chance. They are great for the optishot at least.

BEST PRACTICE/ GOLF SIMULATOR BALL EVER

I usually buy the orange or white foam ones for the indoor simulator but after a dozen hits or so they'll soften up and eventually crack or shred in half. THESE BALLS ARE HARD AS A FKN ROCK and feel pure off the face of the club. They don't soften up. Made from some kind of alien space foam. Will definitely break a window but light enough to not go through the screen thats not rated for golf balls. Don't waste your money anywhere else these are the best practice balls out there

LOOK NO FUTHER These are the practice balls you've been waiting for

The media could not be loaded. This should be the only practice ball you buy. Tired of exploding other "almost or foam" balls, then look no further. The ball in the video played a +2 18 hole round on TGC simulator. Then was hit 100+ times with my 3 iron (the foam ball exploder) other then the print on the ball coming off that's it. These are fantastic. Stay away from those Callaway/Pridesport and J what ever foam balls. GOSPORT A FOAM FLIGHT BALLS TO THE WIN AND FOR YOUR GAME.
