Wow! Love the colors and complimenting contrasts it provides, they are great for fall. Sure, 6 of 8 I feel I’ll most likely use… But, it’s fun to have a palette thats warm with a few bolder choices then I’d normally use- this color mix gives off a no fuss look in a subtle but, noticeable way! I know, sort of sounds like an oxymoron comment but.. as one can see, You could use one soft color all on its own- and blend to softly to Enhance a skin tone. Or, mix/match for a noticeable effect- yet, you’re still doing so with softer earth tones.. so, It becomes noticeable. Nothing too extreme in this palette for the most part! Makeup arrived in a sleek, slim, polished black case with a small makeup brush in a slot at the front of case itself- Honest, the case is sexy sleek.. I LOVE how easy it open/closes- some are impossible to open.. this is not one of them!! Yet, the case stay closed nicely- I don’t think I’ll use the brush provided.. it’s a bit flimsy and not the easiest or, sensible brush to be very accurate to use in applying. I recommend you have/get just 1-2 small angled eyeshadow brushes (can be purchased for just a few $ on their own.) I used a small angled brush and felt it went on smooth- with not much product to create effect. (I did put this on my lid after using a shadow primer.. and this made it so easy to apply..) With use of the lighter color on inside corner- then, use of a mid shade placed in the crease- followed with a bit darker shade of choice on outside edge of lid that i blended in toward the crease... This gave a really nice defined look- and using only palette colors provided, it was done with natural colors. The darker or, more contrasting choice of color usage.. will obviously increase this effect, all depending on what you want. Overall- If you’re wanting something you might actually have a use for…(we’ve all been there ladies.. when we’ve seen palettes we got a bit excited over.. sparkles and bright colors?! And- if you don’t normally wear these, tell the truth- how often do you actually find yourself saying.. today is the day I’m going to use sparkly bright turquoise?!!) I say it’s best to pick up something you might truly have use for… I say it’s best to pick a palette with shades that most commonly are liked/used by you!! Trust me, they‘ll still add a few choices in that color wheelhouse – for more daring or dramatic days… But, you have “real” possibilities if, you’re ever feeling the need for “more Wow! or, different” and if not, you still have a palette that it’s made of colors you’re comfortable with- thus, you will actually use!!! For anyone who uses eyeshadows young/old alike, this is a good solid choice and is most suited for daily use.. vs. more outrageous/daring makeup moments. Easy to use and very well contained.
