Excellent product, inferior shipping

I’ve always loved Dimensions Paintworks. Never had a problem with the kits. But this company that I bought this one and the last one from here on Amazon didn’t even bother to put the kit in a protective cardboard shipping box! I was horrified when the package arrived on my porch SANS package! It was simply the Dimensions box! (Like if you had gone to Hobby Lobby and purchased it straight out.) Now thank God it WASN’T damaged in any way. It was fine. But STILL, I would prefer they not take the chance! We all know horror stories from the shipping industry of what these guys do to packages! Not putting it in a shipping box is taking a huge risk! However, all that aside, the painting came out excellent. Took me slightly over three weeks. Dimensions always comes through for me as far as quality. They are the only company I trust as far as PBN’s. I altered the color on the sky, making it more subdued as I felt using the colors full strength was not realistic enough, so I lightened it up by adding more white. Then I went back with a bright lighted magnifying glass and made sure I didn’t miss any tiny details on all the objects in the painting. .

BEAUTIFUL & easy

This was my second painting from Paintworks and I love them! Everything you need is supplied, except for a palette to mix colors (there is a lot of mixing that needs to be done with these). I framed this and gave it to my in-laws for Christmas. They LOVED it and couldn't believe it was a paint by number. In fact, they had a handyman over to do some work and he happened to also be an artist. He couldn't stop looking at the picture and wouldn't believe it was a paint by number! If he knew me, he would know I don't have that kind of talent. lol Sorry for the glare on the pic, but know that it came out beautifully! I highly recommend!!

Really nice PBN, Loved doing it

We loved doing this PBN, My husband started it and couldn't finish it due to his hands shaking. Im an artist and don't normally do PBNs , I thought this might be fun and it was . Since I'm used to mixing colors it wasn't problem for me and I also made some small changes I thought would make it look better, like the cracks in the windshield I made smaller and the horse on the far right now looks more like a horse. If you can learn to do the blending they explain on the box that make things look better too. Don't be afraid to make changes . If you look closely and compare to the box you can see what I did. But we really like Paint Work Dimensions PBNs.

Nice farm setting

Difficult to complete

Asll the corners are crushed so it would be difficult to complete the paiting. As others have written previously, the item was shipped in just the box itself & damaged.

a fun paint by number scene

I really did not like painting on a board I prefer canvas! But it was fun to try! But probably will not order any other paint by number sets from them.

Love it!

Wonderful quality and easy directions! I can't quite working on it. I lost a couple of tubes of paint due to a new puppy thinking they were treats! But the company is sending me more!
