I used these many years ago
when I put up the Fast Track system in my garage. I left almost all of that system with the house I sold. That absolutely killed me to do that because the Fast Track is hard to beat for organizing your garage. While I couldn't bring all of the system with me, I was able to bring two of the bars and some of the hanger accessories for my one car garage.. That's why I bought these anchors. If you plan on hanging stuff on the system, you need to use these where there is no stud. Maybe 2-3 per bar? They work really well. I never, ever had a bar come off a wall and my two car garage was full of them. Highly recommend these and not for just the Fast Track, but for anywhere you need good wall anchors.

these guys put you on a quota so don't think you're going to buy 50.
These are compatible with Rubbermaid fast track stuff. Went with dark gray for garage then belatedly learned these guys apparently have limited quantities and limit you to 10 which I learned when I went back to buy more and got refused. I wanted around 30 total. Need to find more suppliers. These are very basic products, nothing exotic.

A good versatile garage organization system. A bit pricey but easy to install and looks great!
The whole FastTrack system is great! I use this in my garage to add a lot of storage options. It is easy to install. You will need a drill with bits, a level, a stud finder and some common sense. Plan your layout before trying to install to get the most out of this system. There are different types of shelves, but I went with the wire ones since these will not really collect any dust. First install yours actual FastTrack rails horizontally on the wall. Use a level and a stud finder. Drill pilot holes with a slightly smaller bit than the screws that come with the rails. Next install your upright posts by clipping them onto the rails. I laid out the shelves before I then screwed the uprights. Make sure to try to install the uprights onto studs if you are going to have a lot of weight on your shelves. Next clip on your shelf brackets and lay the shelves on top, making sure to lock the slide locks on the wire shelves. My shelves have the uprights screwed into studs and I have a decent amount of weight on them and have no problems. I love the wire shelves because I hang coats on clothes on hangers under them. Overall this system is pricey, and some one with some skills can easily make shelving, but for those without skills and the time these are a great way to organize your garage. Besides shelves you can also hang attachments and hooks and holders for all kinds of tools and stuff. This system is very versatile and looks great!

Anchors were great, but...
I got these for the anchors, thank goodness, because the screwheads were smaller than what came with my fasttrack system. I already had screws left over from the system, just not enough anchors.

Really cool, quite clean, and wonderful to organize stuff in the air.
The Rubbermaid Fast-Track system is the best design rack system for those who hates clutter and busy garages and also loves to keep stuff off the ground on a very neat way. Be aware of the price, the system looks inexpensive piece-by-piece, but if you plan to have several or multiple modular systems like I did, do the math first to avoid surprises.. Here is why... I installed 2 of this one item @ $15 each = $30, 4 brackets for each shelf @ $8 each = $32, 2 shelves @ $25 = $50. That's roughly $112 for two shelves on a 48" rack system. Here is the interesting thing; I needed at least 3 systems and ended up spending $336 for the 3 racks. That's money..!!! Additionally, I also installed 3 more systems to hang bikes, beach chairs, and some other stuff, which came out another $250 and at the end my total bill was a bit over of $600 as a total for this full project when completed. I'm quite happy how my garage looks, and impressed how much room I got after hanging all my stuff and this system allows you to customize any layout combination you want. The quality is excellent, the finish is super clean, and fairly easy to install. Did not give 5 starts because I had an issue with the product as it claimed to be a 5G71 Fast Track 25 in. Upright with Gripper, but arrived product was slightly different on the top, but still works and sits tight when mounted. Was not a big deal, but I had to decide if I wanted the system, had to accept this small difference. That's all..!!

Works with older Fasttrack systems...BUT...
Screws and anchors are the same size (diameter and length) and compatible with older Rubbermaid Fasttrack systems (+/- 2015), but the head on the screws is silver, not painted white, and it's a smaller head, so you need to use a small washer to keep the screw from falling through the hole in the uprights. I used a #8 washer and it worked well, just a little less pretty than the original white-headed screws. And there's not enough anchors, as usual, which is why I had to buy the hardware kit in the first place. I have the Fasttrack in 4 different closets in my house and it's great - just be prepared to buy extra hardware before you get started if you're not installing into the studs. Also, the Rubbermaid Configurations system uses the same exact hardware so this will work with it too.

FastTrack Rail 48 inch is too short
The 48 inch rail is 48 inches. The widest spaced holes are 47 inches so you cannot easily hit studs with 16 inch spacing. RubberMaid should sell the rail as a 49 inch rail and you would have the holes on the ends of the rail at 48 inches. As an alternative, you can drill holes between the end of the track and the outermost holes and you can attach to a stud at each end - plus the two interior studs spaced at 16 inches. Also note, the attachment package (screws, etc.) are fairly low quality with small Philips heads. Better to use 3 inch deck screws for the studs and molly bolts for the hollow-walll mounts.

This is NOT CONFIGURATIONS
If you read further in the description, you will notice that although the title says "Configurations" it is actually FASTRACK. I needed another upright to extend my configurations closet and this is the only one available to purchase separately. I finally ordered a full 3 - 6 foot closet just to get the extra upright. I will use the leftovers in another space. Boo!
