Careful with dishwasher
I love this brand but I don't if I got bad luck but after putting one of this on the dishwasher broke.

Tough, airtight, leakproof, easy to use
Update 3 years later: We have eight sets of these now, all eight nested and neatly lined up in a drawer. One lid has broken, and one container has a little chip under the outside edge of its lip. They've held up remarkably well. I have exactly enough space in the drawer for one more set, and since we were just a little short for storing holiday leftovers, I came back to buy another set. I was happy to see it had been three years since we bought these. I bought one set of these to test before buying enough to replace all of our plasticware. So far, they have passed all of our initial tests. Over the next week, we'll learn more about freezing and overall durability. I am wondering what all these people are doing who are breaking these. The first thing we did was accidentally send half of these flying across the kitchen. They bounced off the granite countertop and slid over the edge and onto our stone tile floor. Three pieces. None of them broke. I'm going to do some hot and cold experiments and stress test this set over the next week to see if they become weaker and less durable. If they don't hold up, we'll toss them out and look for another brand, but so far, these are looking pretty darn tough. We sealed them up with colored water (food coloring) and shook them all around, put them in the fridge, shook them all around again, put them in the freezer, shook them around, let them come back to room temperature, shook them all around. Put them in the over for 5 minutes at 350, then took them out and shook them all around. No spillage. We put some tissue inside them and sunk them in a sink full of water, then swished them all around. No water got into the containers. The tissues were completely dry when we pulled them out and opened them back up. No leakage. So far, so good. Over the next few weeks or months, if these seem to break or chip more easily than my other tempered glass kitchenware, then I'll post an update at that time. So far, though, these seem very tough, very airtight, and very easy to use. The only thing I'll say is that it can sometimes be difficult to snap them all closed, but that is the price to be paid for no leakage. Update: Just wanted to add a tip. After having these for a month or two, I've figured out how to consistently get them closed with ease. If I'm having to apply too much pressure to close the lid, I just unsnap and re-situate the lid back onto the container. It will close with ease every time.

I'm having a hell of a time getting the lids to snap on as they should. I can never get all 4 spots to snap shut, and it's frustrating! I always have liked OXO products but these are making me rethink if I ever buy an Oxo item again.

Disappointed at first but very happy now
If you're like me, you're very familiar and happy with OXO products. I was excited to get this set in an effort to make my kitchen more environment-friendly by reducing plastic. I have two things to share with prospective buyers: 1) the lids take a little bit of effort to snap them shut. I've even had a couple "pop" open on their own. I just got these so I'm not sure if it's a design flaw or I just didn't snap them shut enough. Also, be sure to wash these in warm soapy water before your first use--don't just rinse them out--because they seem to arrive with some kind of slippery film. I assume it's to keep them nice during shipping. I had to wash them with Dawn to get them "squeaky" clean. I gave these 3 stars for cleaning because the grooves on the lids where the gaskets sit can trap grease and food if you don't clean them well. UPDATE AFTER SEVERAL USES: 1) The lids are easier to snap shut after realizing one needs to apply some pressure to the gaskets. The four tabs to clamp the lids down form a very tight seal--these will NOT leak! 2) I realized the green gaskets ARE removable, making them and the grooves easy to clean--5 stars instead of 3.

Most of the containers are quite small.
The photos are a bit misleading as the majority of the containers are quite small. The product itself seems durable and of good quality as OXO is known to be however the sizing significantly limits the use of this set.

Lids don't snap on after a couple of months
I was putting the lids in the middle rack of my dishwasher. The OXO description said the lids were dishwasher safe. I am assuming that is wrong since after a couple of months the lids won't snap on. I have to go back to plastic. It has been a very expensive and disappointing experience. OXO can do better than that. So far the round containers are still working. Could be that I don't use them as much.

Prácticos y lindos.
Son lindos e higienicos. De verdad son herméticos y los uso para tantas cosas que los pedí de nuevo. Guardo todo tipo de comida en el refrigerador. A mi esposo le gusta llevar comida en ellos al trabajo porque no se escurren y lucen más refinados que los recipientes de plástico. Me encanta llevarlos al súper y al mercado cuando compro pollo, pescado, mariscos, queso, jamón y carne. Así llegando a casa los meto al refrigerador y no ocupo plásticos ni uniceles desechables. Como son de vidrio no guardan olores y siento que mi comida dura un poco más. Me gusta mucho el color de la tapa y me hacen sentir orgullosa de cuidar el medio ambiente.

Gran calidad a un muy buen precio
Es vidrio de buena calidad, puedes pasar las cosas de refrigerador al horno de microondas sin problemas. Las tapas sellan a la perfección y permite quitar los sellos con mucha facilidad para mejorar la limpieza, el tamaño es bueno para almacenar. Yo lo uso para llevar comida y ya no hay más derrames.
