Lies flat and is wide enough to cover drips from spatulas

I bought these not only for the grill but for tge kitchen to use with spatulas and large spoons so they don’t drip in my counter tops. This works perfectly.

Wish it had a hard/heavy base.

It’s great, but a little flimsy. If it had a solid or heavy base I think it would be perfect.

My Go-To tool rest

This thing has become my go-to tool rest when cooking inside and outside. Unlike a plate, it sits low to the counter and yet it has a lip that contains drips. Then, after cooking, this thing goes through the dishwasher and is ready to go again.

In love with this drip pad

I have a thing for drip pads so I own a few. I especially like ones that are large enough to accommodate multiple utensils simultaneously. This one has a slot for tongs so you don’t have to close them before placing on the pad. Bless the person that had this idea! This is my first use, however it seems sturdy and is easy to clean. Also like that it’s black and will not stain from curries and chili etc. I expect this to last me a while. When it warms up I’ll be using it by the grill along with my little basting pot I purchased at the same time. The basting pot is the cutest little thing. I’ve had it in my save for later for ever and finally decided to get it. The cover is intended to keep bugs out while grilling and the brush seems durable. Since this is my first use I can’t comment whether it rusts or not but does not seem like it will. I’ll be grilling in style this summer!

Works exactly as it's supposed to

I use this to keep my BBQ utensils off the table, and it's exactly what I needed. The mat is flexible and easy to clean, and saves me from wasting a paper plate every time I use the grille.

Perfect gift for anyone who grills!

I absolutely didn’t know I needed this tool rest…until I bought it and used it! I used to set my grill tools on the side table or hang them from the hooks on the side. The problem was that grease would either get the side table dirty or drip onto my patio. This little tool rest was just what I needed to keep the mess contained. It’s easy to clean, heat resistant, and even holds your tongs. I don’t put silicone in the dishwasher because that tends to leave spots, but a quick wipe with a sponge/scrubber and a rinse with hot water are all I’ve needed to do. It’s slip resistant and makes for a great place to put my Thermopen without me worrying it will get knocked off. And it’s durable! Pros: Inexpensive Slip resistant Easy to clean Durable Cons: None that I’ve found so far!

Keeps grilling mess to a minimum

This is the perfect compliment for any outdoor grill shelf. It keeps my tools handy and accessible while controlling the greasy mess they make. Using this tool rest keeps my stainless grill cleaner and the silicone tool rest is easy to wipe down and keep clean. It is large enough for my grill tongs and a large grill spatula. Basically, two grill size tools fit perfectly on this.
