Great patches.

You really get 6,000 patches if you factor in that each patch can be used 3 times. There are 3 slots/holes in the patch and if you use it as a cone shape, you can pull through a bore once, undo the patch, and use the other slots. I highly recommend watching some otis videos on how to use the patches. It's very important that you use these patches properly as it will maximize your experience. I do find the patches clean the chamber area much better than other patches out there since if you have the cone shape, you can pull through and let it sit in the chamber area and you can spin it around to clean the area out. I find the patches absorb oil, carbon, and cleaner fluid very well. And as I said earlier it is imperative that you use these patches right as it will benefit you and make cleaning your bores really easy and less time consuming. The reason I give this 4 stars is that while the patches work great, if you're not careful about how you set the patches up, it's easy to get it stuck in the barrel. I had this happen at first many years ago and I can tell you that it is not a fun experience to get one of these patches stuck in the bore. I also find a negative is that if you just came back from the range, and clean a dirty bore, the first patch is probably going to be soaked in nasty dirty stuff and you can't really use the other slots so you waste a patch. I feel like since these are premium patches, I tend to use my less expensive patches initially before I move into using the otis specialize patches. That's not really a negative since there is a work around. Also since these patches are circular in shape, you can use them for other calibers up to 45 cal if you use a jag. But as I said earlier, these are somewhat premium, specialized patches so it is not a good idea to waste them when you can buy less expensive patch for this purpose. I also find these patches to work wonderfully with cleaning the insides of a bolt carrier if you have a cat-m4 tool. You can put the patches in with the tool and clean out a lot of the junk. I can get it to where the patches come out white using the cat-m4 tool, some dental picks, and some carb cleaner. Overall I highly recommend these patches. The only danger, as I mention, is that you have to be careful how you assemble these or you run the risk of it getting stuck in the bore which is not a fun thing.

I like the precut holes and the Otis Pinch to adjust size system, allows fit for different calibers.

I like these a lot because of the precut holes and the way you create the cone shape patch when you follow the Otis instructions and do the pinch method. Some folks mention they don't follow those directions but why not. They say most damage to a gun come from improper cleaning and these Otis patches with their pinch method covers your tool all the way around so you have no metal to metal contact, makes sense when you see how it works. Adjusting your pinch does actually work in terms of how it fits thru the barrel. I use these to clean both the S&W AR15 and Glock 17. They work great and at this pack qty I think the cost per patch is only 3.5 cents each.

These are the patches you are looking for

My son's a junior shooter. Have tried a variety of patches and the Otis ones seem to be the right size/quality/value. These are sold in bulk, so no fancy packaging, but more economical than buying 100 at a time. Will definitely buy again when we need more

i like the otis stuff

My ar manufacturer (Core15) recommends Otis and I like their stuff. Pulling cables through small bores can be a challenge. I really need to get a better handle. But these circular patches work well with their system. These are multi-use patches. They're also very effective at removing make-up. Serves as a nostril plug in case of nosebleed. Clean buggers of the cat's lips and nose! No end of great applications for these babies!

These work so well with the Otis System and finally a company that sells their consumables in a bulk pack at a fair price. Try them, you will like them. I will buy again and I am just ordering the large patch for the Otis Deluxe Rifle/Pistol Cleaning System I just ordered.

Otis small caliber cleaning patches.

Used with the Otis system for barrel cleaning of 22 cal and 223 cal barrels. Does an excellent job. Buying in bulk is economical. Re use the cans that the patches normally come in.
