Absolutely Wonderful!

I absolutely love this bag! The back support on this is great, has lots of pockets and the water pack is wonderful. My only complaints with this backpack is that there is no good place to have quick access to your phone. The hip pockets are just a little too small. I have an iPhone 7 plus so a little on the bigger side. I can get it in but it is such a tight fit that to get it out is kind of a pain. The side pockets are also a little small. My Nalgene does fit in the side pocket but it is tight. There holes in the side of these pockets so putting your phone in these pockets is not an option either. It just falls out. Do not let that stop you from getting this bag though! We have done multiple hikes with this. I did a three hour hike with a full bag and water pouch to see how my back would feel with the weight and I did not get sore shoulders or a sore back. The support system keeps the bulk of the weight off your back so you are not sweating like crazy right into the backpack, you actually get a nice breeze through the space it creates. It can hold a lot of stuff even when the water pouch is full and is perfect for day hikes. If you are looking for something reliable, that is comfy after hours of hiking, and has a great water system in it with lots of space left over this is the bag for you!

Yep!!!

I had reservations about spending this kind of money on a daypack, especially without being fitted first...but the bag came today and I just literally spent an hour of quality time checking out every aspect of it with a fine tooth comb. Keep in mind, I have not yet hiked with it but filled it up with my gear and mosey'd on about. That being said..just WOW!!! This pack has certainly exceeded my expectations!!! There is more than enough room here for full day outings and the pack really IS loaded with features. The suspension was a different feel compared to what I am used to, but I have no doubt that it will be a godsend on the trail. It is fully adjustable to accommodate different torso lengths. I am thrilled with and excited about this purchase!! Cheers! UPDATE: Took this out on a 3 mile hike today & pretty loaded down. It performed beautifully!!!

The most comfortable pack I've tried

I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this pack was, even after using it for several days in a row. The pack itself sits away from your back, with only the mesh layer hugging your body. This feature allows the body to stay cool and for sweat to easily evaporate. Once I fitted it properly by using their instructions, I couldn't believe how great it felt. I have tried numerous other brands of backpacks in various sizes--day packs through backpacking packs--and this one is by far the most enjoyable to wear. The small pockets and bungees on the outside are really great for organizing all of your gear. I really like the built-in rain cover and pole attachments. I would highly recommend!

Comfy, Comfy Backpack

The Mira 22 is a well designed, well fitted pack. Very comfortable feel on the hips and back. Plenty of organization and pockets. Zippers on the hip pouches were problemtic until I realized the tension straps made the zipper close better. ???? Osprey hydraulic system is super easy, great flow and the magnet is a bonus. I bought my own whistle. Wishlist would be to add more MOLLE on the shoulder straps. It's an overall great daypack/weekender. For longer back country hiking, my Atmos 50L is the older big sister!!

Pretty Comfortable

The biggest complaint is that the side pocket zippers are not as easy and convenient as they should be for their location. Also, the magnetic piece that holds the hose for the hydration pack should be adjustable. It won’t stay and cannot be adjusted.

Not as fond of this pack as I have been with my others from Osprey. The ventilation has improved but the straw tube for the water bladder is notched at just the wrong spot. Have have it disconnect several times spilling water all over me and the pack. The pelvic step has been reduced in size and padding thus increasing weight pressure on my hips. I really miss having a bit more organization and access to the front pouch. The side zipper is awkward and thing move around too much. The top access pouch has been reduced in volume as well which is not great but do-able. I enjoy the added whistle and ease of release in the breast strap but it needs to be more adjustable in a up/down manner. I really like the larger side access panels. Overall, I give it a 6.5 / 10.
