LOVE MY TIMEX!
I always heard growing up in the 80's, "Timex takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin!" But I always got knock off el-cheapo versions (in hindsight VERY smart on behalf of my mom) and they always broke at the band where the pin connects, and then the illumination which was typically a half lit dull yellow incandescent looking thing- would stop working - and I'd lose them or they'd break permanently. We're talking about $3.99-$8.99 kids watches from K-Mart here after all. After I got older and had money to buy my own Timex, but what did I do? Started with a Movado & fell in love with Swiss made Chronograph Quartz movement watches. 92 Rolex Daytona through the 2020 Daytona. A Jacob in the early part of the 21st century. A half dozen Patek Phillipe & 2 Richard Mille. A that literally cost more than my parents house. While I still have a very expensive and admirable collection (kept safely in a vault that would take the crew from The Italian Job to get at, get in- getting it out of my house would present their biggest problem. So despite all the time pieces of 50K to 600K (except my Movados, they're all $1000 or less. In fact my favorite is the 1st one I got at TJ max for $179. It is sold on here and on Movado's own site for $500-1500, but it's not worth that much, trust me. It's the museum classic which made Movado. A nothing nobody brand into a stunning watch for a fraction of a percent of a Patek, and even the most expensive Movado is still less than 5% of the cost of a Rolex. A 48,000 dollar Rolex. So my review of this watch: I never got my Timex as a kid, and strayed away to the moon on my watch collection, but I needed a digital watch that's waterproof, sporty, has chronograph and alarms and timers indiglo and all the cool stuff a tough little watch has. This one is better than I have been expecting all these years. Lol I know it sounds silly but I wear my Timex now and leave the trays of mansions and Ferrari's and Range Rovers, Bimmers & Audis, Rolls Royce's and Mercedes G-wagon AMG V12 898hp w/1576ft-lbs of torque, 0-60 in 3.1 seconds- Yeah, that is the kind of $ in watches- but they are all 100% flawless. A perpetual investment. I have jewelers offering me as much as I paid or more - considering the inflation - i wouldn't actually make $ but it would seem as though I had - and I would have it to use for the bigger heated pool or whatever. The next condo in Breckenridge or Jackson Hole. Where I'll be sporting my Timex ironman!! ⌚???? My Fav feature i discovered this morning - ok so last week i pressed down and held the indiglo button for like 5 or 10 seconds. It went beep beep. or maybe just one beep ... it displayed a crescent ???? moon. Cool! But... what does it do? So I decided I'd read the instructions - it's only been a month or so - might as well. They're not instructions, just a warranty and some other information/disclaimers etc., in 500 different languages. Okay, so I guess I won't be doing that! And I just forgot about it. Then this morning I realized that with it on, the indiglo would come on regardless of the buttons I pressed. So it's a little indiglo lock on and of hidden secret ????. Awesome though. I have alarms set for 0530 & 17:30 so my pup knows it's his breakfast and dinner time. And the 3rd is for my weekend nap WHICH I am missing right now! Thanks guys... JK BUT seriously, great watch, comfortable band, easy to figure out how to make everything work, and set to your liking. And it's only 40 or 50 Bucks. Sweet! Good -- No, Great deal. Oh and it doesn't tick, but I have been inadvertently giving it a "lickin" and it still digits? is that a word? KEEPS ON BEEPING (But you can shut that off same with the chime for the top of the hour that's obnoxious) Get Yours! ????????

Great durable watch.
I bought this watch after losing a similar watch. I have pretty fat wrists and it is really hard to find watches that fit but this works, BARELY. I have to have the band on the very last hole. I have a velcro band that fits much better so when this band breaks at the last hle then I will update the band with one that fits better. Since it is waterproof this watch can be worn in the pool, the shower etc. I like to go on cruises and if I want to jump in the pool or the ocean I don't want to have to worry about destroying my watch. For me this is MUCH more convenient than relying on my phone for the time.

excellent watch
alarm is loud(which is good). watch face very easy to read in daylight and when using the backlight. lower profile than most digital watches (doesn't get caught as much in jacket and coat sleeves). has weekday vs. weekend alarm option which is great. very good watch and very affordable.

Great casual watch
I bought this watch to replace the exact same watch my husband had for over 10 years. He loves it!

Inexpensive work watch. Keeps on ticking.
It’s okay for the price. No instructions for set up in the order, but not too complicated. Not happy with the band. Every time I take it off, I must completely open the strap to remove. A bit of a pain every morning. Update: I wear this one every day. I do construction. Over 2 months since the purchase it’s in perfect shape. Velcro still works. I hardly know it’s on.

Waterproof. Excellent.
Can't beat the price

Good looking watch
The negative dial offers a different look that upgrades the Ironman. Yes, it is slightly more difficult to see in a darker room. That being said, the indigo light solves this problem quickly. I recommend it.

Great watch at a great price.
I have been wearing this model Timex for years. This is probably my fifth or sixth one. They last at least 4-5 years or more. The buckle for the velcro strap broke and could not be repaired. Really like all the features, 3 alarms, timer, stop watch, date, two time zone capability and night time illumination. I am an athlete and use its functions daily. I will keep buying these until I can't.

Great watch, great design, great nod to the Ironman colours. Would be 5star aside from small issue described in my review...
I love Timex Ironman watches. They've been my favourite since my first many years ago. I actually bought this to replace a Timex Ironman velcro which believe it or not, the plastic part perfectly sheared apart after about 2 years (just out of warranty) in the heat. The rest of the watch looks like it was unworn because I'm very careful of my devices and accessories. But I found this watch here on Amazon sold by 'mymemory' and loved the colour and the fact that it is the Ironman match I've come to love. The only initial sore point is that it's a standard plastic clasp style strap. It seems as if the velcro sports edition that I loved no longer exists. Such a shame. However this plastic strap and clasp is actually very good quality and very comfortable both for casual wear and sports too! The colour is rather traditional and a throwback to their original design (striking orange and black). Further to this, it is quite fitting with many accessories and designers of today, such as Timberland who offer specs (well the frames in trying to) which look like they were designed to conplement each other perfectly. Yes it looks cool. My brother even commented on it, who also incidentally bought me my first Ironman watch as a Christmas present many years ago. Ok. So the only fault I found if any, although I might be considered picky. Is that there appears to be some sort of dust or foreign object between the glass/plastic casing. In normal daylight this is not noticeable, but is visible when the neon blue backlight is initiated. So what she's this mean I hear you say? (Well maybe you do, maybe you don't). Well not too much to be fair, but for me personally, I immediately noticed it when I first pressed the backlight, in that I see some black dots. Before I scare people of the watch though, I would like to note that these do not affrct the function nor usability of the watch. Rather (much like the odd dead pixel would be on an LED/LCD TV) they are only an issue when in pure darkness and the light is initiated when paying full attention to their location. So, I hope this explains why I dropped the one star on this occasion, else I wouldve been very happy to give 5stars. Other than the one fault I mentioned, I am very pleased with the watch and hope it lasts me many years or more.

Tough as old boots.
This is my second of these. The first was lost in a hedge whilst hedge cutting at work. I use mine every day outside whilst running my gardening business - it is constantly covered in mud, getting bashed, but is as rugged as anything. I like the large stop/ start button on the front for the stop watch - this makes it easy to start the stop watch when I get on site. Another useful feature is the ability to customise the displays. It has 3 alarms, stopwatch and timer, all of which can be deselected from appearing as you scroll through the modes. This is useful if you only use it for a few of the functions. I never use the timer or the alarms, so makes it easier to switch between time and stopwatch when pressing the mode button.

Recommended.
It's very functional and the actual module is great, everything you need. It is let down by its plastic face that scratches easily as it's not recessed and cheap materials, I would still recommend timex, the light is great, the alarm chimes are louder than competitors. Very nice layout of functions. Yes buy it if you want a easy to use beater watch.

I am a little disappointed in teh size
I am a little disappointed in teh size. i bought the large one but it's not as large as my GShock. I wanted this specifically for running and i'll still use it for this i just personally like a larger watch. It's about medium sized compared to my GShock. That said, everything else is good. The materials it's made from are good quality, it's lightweight, comfortable to wear and easy to use. I'll keep the watch as I bought their largest one, and besides that personal preference of mine, it does what I bought it for.

Great Watch
Great watch - looks really nice on and has the functions I need (stopwatch, interval timer, date and clear display). The indiglo is a nice feature too. Wanted something for gym/cycling without all the bells and whistles, which also didn't look like a cheap digital watch. This fits the bill perfectly, comfortable to wear and well made, not too bulky has a good size/clear display
